    i would much rather play oakland instead of minnesota. Santana will go twice, Radke is a good #2. They play at the dome which is as good a home field as anywhere, and they don't give away outs. They havea very good bullpen. Whoever gets the Twins IT IS NO PUSHOVER. Boston owns oakland. oakland cannot figure them out. we nullify the rotation by shutting down their offense, and get to their bullpen early they are screwed. they cant hit iwth us...just look at the last 8 or 9 times weve played them...very one sided.

    thats really dumb...no matter what anyone says there is a stupid rejoinder...if ur going to say 13 to 1 by leiber, we can say 22-0, we beat rivera twice, or your a faggot. and you can since ur smart and go to Tufts, say 1918. im glad leiber 2 hit us today...it means the yankees will be more dependable on him and probabloy pick him up for next year too. we all know that 200 hits allowed in barely 140 innings pitched is not good. So big deal, he is hit or miss and we got killed today. this still means more to NY than boston because if they are the ones to blow a 10 game lead, they will never forget it. Boston wasn't going to be in this position anyway, eventhough it hurts that we are only 3 games back and have a shot. Boston's got nothing to lose...

    2 inches of rain in NY on Fri, and through the day Sat. The best chance we have this weekend is move Sat 1 pm to Sat 7 pm, DH on sunday

    I can respect el duque just for this reason: he is a gamer. he has more heart than any other yankee pitcher out there right now....When the Yankees signed him midway thru this year, I was hoping Boston would give him a shot. Although he hasn't pitched against many playoff teams this year, I still think he's a good pitcher. But the Yankees don't reward him like they should...this is the same guy they traded to Montreal...and wasn't even in preseason camp (eventhough he was rehabbing)

    After the 22-0 loss to Cleveland, El Duque followed up the next game with a Win. George Stienbrenner said in quotes after all the ******** being hung up at Yankee stadium, and comparing it to 9/11...El Duque has gotta be the best pitcher I've ever seen. thats incredible. what a drugged up man he must be.

    ive seen a group of yankee fans pick on a family of Sox fans...the kids were about 4 years old wearing Nomar tee shirts and a drunk piece of white trash was screaming in the kids face. The father pushed him away and the stadium security pounced on the yankee fan and beat him...that was a good day.

    We all ripped Sheff for talking about the Sox the other day...but why do Damon and Oritz talk... Damon saying there is no doubt we are the better team, and Ortiz saying they are def. scared about us....Now, the chip on the shoulder is good, but don't give the yankees added incentive here. Schilling is the only one that can talk...he beat them with Arizona...everybody else on the red sox has to prove that they can beat the Yankees this year. dont talk about it do it.

    i dont know why anyone can be high on wake. you never know what you're gonna get with him...he really better start to turn it around by the next start or he and the red sox will have serious trouble in the post season.

    Finally matured...that's pretty good considering he is 35...that's normal in most grown men. Mike and the Mad Dog...I love the show, but not exactly a great source of information either. Typically, yankee fans get all the information from opinionated talk shows anyway. If he played for the Mets you'd agree what an ass hole he is. If Hitler played for the Yankees, A)he'd probably hit a walk off home run at some point and the Yankees would give him the key to the city. being from NJ doesn't make me a punk for hating the Yankees. A lot of people from this side of the river are frontrunners, so its nice to see someone like the team he first saw at Fenway in the late 80s.

    I am from NJ and being around the Yes network..the way they honor Sheffield as the yankee savior is pathetic. Everyone forgets what an ass hole this guy really is...the same guy who threw away balls on purpose to get traded, speak out against managers and players, The balco incident which is not over, and the beating of his wife in LA. He is a punk, as great as he has been over the course of his career theres a reason why he has played for so many teams. sizzlin-don't ask empire for his opinion, hes obviously tried to sleep with sheff
