  1. Goddamn. Then again, I wouldn't mind an extra-inning affair for the Yanks again.
  2. Damn it, you're ahead of me lol.
  3. Dan Wheeler is doing his part to f*** up the game.
  4. Uh, maybe you're rooting for them because: 1) The Yankees losing never gets old no matter what they've clinched. 2) We do kind of have a division to win...
  5. I think they said that to the public (getting to the bottom of Spygate), but I think Goodell knew it was prevalent around the league. I mean, he got his hands on some tapes and destroyed them, but I doubt he ever intended to make a huge deal out of it. He wanted to set a precedent, which he did, but I don't think the investigation was going to go deep.
  6. Actually, upon looking at it again, I'd be pretty pissed at the umpire if he did that to me. Now I'm not saying that I would have reacted in the same way that Bradley did, but the umpire has no reason to jar back and forth with him.
  7. That's completely Bradley's fault. The weird thing is that I've never seen him so mad before... and lol, I've seen him pretty damn mad.
  8. Yes they should. They'll be absolutely gassed for the ALDS.
  9. lol.
  10. Jesse Litsch, I pray to you... please PLEASE pitch well enough to hold the lead.
  11. I'm not into conspiracies, and I don't think this is the case, but the Yankees seem to be catching every f***ing break that they could possibly catch. I better not get any of this conspiracy theory s*** thrown in my face by people who are illiterate.
  12. Hahahahha I thought that was really funny. Daisuke Matsuzaka, who is overrated chinky boy.
  13. I hope Burnett has more friends on the Red Sox than he does on the Yankees.... :dunno:
  14. I wouldn't be surprised. I'm pretty sure a lot of people here were speculating about that, especially considering the fact that Piniella's their manager.
  15. Oh, I didn't mean that the talent wasn't there. Let me re-phrase myself: The Chargers aren't a well-coached team, and therefore they may not be that good. The talent is certainly there though. If Marty was still there, they'd be a lot better. Yeah, they beat the Bears but I think Dallas will tonight, also. I don't mean to take anything away from the Packers. If I had to choose right now, I'd pick them to go to the Superbowl. Favre is on FIRE and that defense looks impenetrable at times. Maybe Favre was onto something when he said, of that young team, that it was one of the most talented teams he had ever been a part of. Maybe he really saw something. The Packers, IMO (if Favre plays another year to his level), would be the best team in the NFC hands down next year. Even right now I consider them superbowl contenders.
  16. The only thing that I don't understand is how Gom can say that we've choked the lead away. First of all, we're still in first. Yeah, it's a slim lead, but that's what happens when the Yanks play .650 ball for the entire second half. It seems like the Red Sox would have had to finish with 105-110 wins, otherwise it's a choke.
  17. Hahahahahahaahhaha same here.
  18. I'm starting to think that they're just not that good. Schottenheimer may not be great in the post-season, but Norv Turner just plain f***ing sucks. That said, the Packers are looking REALLY good so far.
  19. 2-0 Jays on a Lind 2-RBI double. EDIT: Now 3-0.
  20. I don't mind Pedroia with the day off (he could use one anyway) especially with Wakefield going down in Tampa.
