i know seriously, and we dont know for sure, even though its likely. therefore it should be in rumor mill. 2, im sick of people talking about the offseason when we have to make sure we get there as champions and want to make more good pitching FAs come to boston. you never know, we could get better than pavano if we win the series. people need to relax, focus on whats on tap and whats on hand, and then worry about what could possibly come out of this series. -
correct, this team is on too much of a roll to be stopped, even with last nights blunders we still came out on top.

agreed, i think francona has been solid in the postseason, with minimal critical moves. torre was solid the whole year, he did everything he could with his team but nothing he thought of went the right way, simply because his team sucked in the last 4 games. torre was solid the WHOLE YEAR. if torre had a team like the sox who knew how to play baseball at critical times in the season, he would have been awesome.

until game 4 of the alcs it didnt seem like they wanted it at all. now that they find themselves up 1-0, i think they proved to themselves that they can do it. let me tell u, working back from an 0-3 hole in the alcs and suddenly being up 1-0 in the world series would sure bring up my confidence.

thats true as ugly as the game was. i think this win was key for us. now with pedro and schilldawg going in the next 2 games with schilldawg today, the cards could very find themselves down in an 0-3 hole before they know it. dont count on it though.

luckily for us, we managed to win this game, and the only place this team can go right now is up with schill and pedro in the next 2 games!

i think his season speaks for himself. and i trust manny in LF just as much as i trust anyone else to catch a ball, its not that hard. its those plays where he has to lay it out on the line a little more than usual when i get nervous, as i do with anyone else. however, u get on my good side and stay there if u have a season like manny did. he had one bad night, and u cant suddeny switch him over to your bad side for it. did we still win? yes. is tomorrow a new day? yes. so whats the problem?

i think we have a special team. u know somethings going in your favor when: u give up 9 runs in a game and are never trailing u have 4 errors in a game u blow a couple leads u have shaky pitching until the end and yet u still come out on top with a 5 game winning streak in the postseason, i just dont see how this team can be stopped, we have so much spark and fire right now its gunna take all of americas fire departments to put ours out.
