  1. exactly what i thought. although a salary cap, i know u never said a salary cap should be applied, would also make baseball different...
  2. no, he likes to bobble balls.
  3. lol my b...i still think its high...although beltran is one of the best players in baseball.
  4. we hope they can at least. many boston fans hope we can, but dont know if we actually will. its very hard to win back to back world series, much harder than it is to win back to back superbowls!!
  5. but what i mean is that if u look at it, it wasnt even that hard of a foul. there was absolutely no reason for wallace to react the way he did. what it led to was complete nonsense, just take the hit, and go to the line to shoot 2 free throws, and move on in life.
  6. just when we thought we could watch college sports for comfort, yesterday while i was watching the s. carolina at clemson game, yet another fight errupted between the two teams, punches were being thrown and everything, like the 5 minute fiasco between the pacers at pistons. later, it was said that the nba game between the pacers and pistons helped spark this fight. thoughts...this was a COLLEGE game my friends.
  7. i saw it on the opening page of the mlb section on espn.com. boras thinks beltran is worth as much as the yankees payroll next year... this proves boras should die...although he is just trying to get the player the most amount of money possible...it just seems like what he thinks is totally unreasonable.
  8. i think it was all fair for the most part, yes the pacers are f***ed, artest is a great player with a bad attitude, they dont have him, o'neal is always huge for them, hes gone for 25 games, same with stephen jackson, 30 games and goodbye. i think ben wallace needed more...he started everything that occured by overreacting to what looked like a harmless foul, and he also sparked anger in the crowd....he should have the second most games, maybe 35-40, seeing that he wasnt as violent as artest, he still threw punches and started it all. it was the most classless thing on both teams parts and the fans too, they should all be ashamed of themselves.
  9. i think ur retarded...if hudsons on our team he wont have to face our offense, and hes dominated other teams offenses, so ill take him. and someone also said somethin about dealin youk, we cant deal youk, hes homegrown talent at 3B and we are going to need that soon, and hes proven he can be a damn good 3Bman at times. im lookin forward to when he gets the startin job.
  10. i voted numero uno for reasons already stated in this thread.
  11. wow, now that i think about it, thats so right. mark anthony is a lucky bitch, how did he get that? i mean...hes not worthy.
  12. hey, and welcome. but whats with your username? it means nothing now
  13. apparently, 9 players have been handed suspensions: 1. ron artest- rest of season 2. stephen jackson- 30 games 3. jermaine o'neal- 25 games 4. ben wallace- 6 games (that surprised me, he started it all and only got 6?!?!?!) 5. anthony johnson- 5 games 6. reggie miller- 1 game 7. chauncey billups- 1 game 8. elden campbell- 1 game 9. derrick coleman- 1 game total, the nba banned nine players for over 140 games. suspensions for pacers-pistons brawl artest is officially the first person in nba history to receive a suspension for about the whole season for a fight.
  14. no it literally just sunk in about 4 hours ago, as i was eating dinner, and i was like holy s*** we reallly won the world series.
  15. ur numbers are a bit low, EVERY member of each team and about 30 fans were in it, not to mention the amount of people on the court. it was crazy, i was so happy i saw all 20 minutes of it... pistons fans are a bunch of punks, and thats all there is to it, just like nba friday coast to coast said, its easy to throw a beer on someone while theyre laying down, its easy to punch someone from behind, if ur gunna do it, then do it right.
  16. i went to the one in vero beach last year when the sox played the dodgers for the first time EVAR in spring training. it was so sweet, i got schilldawg, francona, tek, mueller, *gasp* nomar, pedro and manny to sign autographs...i was so pissed i didnt get papi's...
  17. looks like washington has received jose guillen from the angels... Washington Acquires Jose Guillen
  18. yeszirs bro hooked me up.
  19. lol...and soxfan u tend to have MANY spelling problems and the first time i read it i thought u meant now go with vizquel too. yankshater, its actually 12.25 mill... :harhar:
  20. option 1, paying 212345123 dollars.
  21. well omar vizquel signed a 3 year, 12.25 million dollar contract with.... the giants!! dammit!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1922778
  22. larkin would be last on my list just because of how he has defensively and offensively declined...and i dont think would be able to start every day. face it, hes not even close to the old barry larkin.
  23. ive heard somethin involving posada goin to arizona with someone for RJ...anyone else heard this?
  24. mathenys on the market, but mirabelli might step in...the catcher situation is kind of difficult for me to take in right now...
  25. doug because given the hitters ballpark that fenway is, i could see MKZ hitting about .260 with 20-25 HRs... not to mention his glove is much better than millars. and there are 3 votes for kevin and they havent posted yet...PLEASE TELL WHY U VOTED FOR HIM!!!
