  1. The only case I see that you have here is Delcarmen and Sturtze. Watching this Twins game, Delcarmen is sucking it up. Timlin...should have been an all-star. The Sox always get to Gordon. Mussina...that is a toss up, and it's not as easy as you say it is. Look how both pitchers have been pitching recently. Mussina with that DISASTROUS game against the Guardians, and Wells has been on a roll ever since he found out who he was (a couple starts after that disastrous A's game). And also, Crespo, the way that Johnson has been pitching recently, Schilling > Johnson, although I can't base that seriously. Will need to see more of Schill's starts when he gets back into the rotation.
  2. Bah don't speak too soon. We have 2 outs, yes, but they tacked on 2 runs just like that for the score to be 11-6. As a Sox fan, even though we won the WS last year, you should know that you can never feel safe until the last out is recorded. And Riverside, the truth hurts I guess...Those ERAs are mad ugly. Great, now two runners in scoring position with 2 outs. Please this game just end.
  3. No. He needs TIME. Give the man TIME. He's not gunna be as productive as everyone else, that was expected. We need to see how this pans out in the long run. Obviously, should we make the postseason (which I strongly believe will happen), he shouldn't be on that roster, but he needs as much time as he can get. I think he has a bright future myself.
  4. Wait, are you serious that the lowest ERA our rotation has is 4.13?!?!?!?? That's like as bad as the Yankees last year, they didn't have 1 pitcher under a 4 ERA.
  5. I am with everyone else on you...you are NOWHERE here when we are doing well, and you are easily the most NEGATIVE person on this board. If all you wanna do is go bash on the team THAT YOU SUPPOSEDLY ROOT FOR, well, the YES boards or nyyfans.com is where you belong, and you can go identify with Yankee fans there. (Oh yes, I went there.) You piss us all off so much with your ********. If Tito is such a bad manager, why did we win the WS in 2004? Oh yeah, you weren't posting here in 2004. Why are we still in 1st place if he sucks? Cause Torre and every other manager on the face of this planet sucks? GO SIT IN A CORNER while watching Bad News Bears. Now there's some bad management. Go criticize Billy Bob, you pathetic dolt.
  6. There you go again with the "OMG HES SO CUTE !!11ONEONE"...please. stop.
  7. RSR--things may look good because Wells is goin tomorrow, but if our offense couldn't hit Radke, what happens against SANTANA tomorrow?!? AHHH
  8. Yeah, but this is just too much. 12-0?!!?? IJANBUHBKV RJSGAFVA FV JBAVHJVASJHV
  9. Merge thread time.
  10. 2 words to sum this night up: Excruciating pain.
  11. Yeah...I was outside when it started in Newton Centre and had no idea that it was supposed to rain. Then I had to run back to my house...how lame. The thunder was crazy, the lightning bright, and by God I had to sit next to the fireplace in my house after turning it on just so I could dry off. I got a few drops every now and then in some bare skin spot, and it did hurt sometimes. Well, not hurt, but you could really feel it hitting you.
  12. Gametime: 8:10pm ET http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/276520.jpg#61 Bronson Arroyo (9-6, 4.22) @ http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/120878.jpg#22 Brad Radke (6-10, 3.88) Arroyo's Career Stats vs. Twins: 2-0, 5 ER over 14.2 IP for a 3.07 ERA Radke's Career Stats vs. Red Sox: 8-6, 76 ER over 134 IP for a 5.08 ERA Well, obviously Minnesota has been struggling IMMENSELY recently, so I would like to extend our winning streak to 9 by the end of tonight, and 11 by the end of the series...heh, wishful thinking. GO SOX!
  13. Welcome, enjoy your stay!
  14. I was going to comment on the race thing but thought it best not to, I mean how can he incorporate race into this whole ordeal here? Sheesh, shut up and play the game you piece of s***.
  15. Isn't there already a thread about this? But yeah... I still hate Sheffield. But hey, if he's the cancer to their clubhouse, than there definitely is no cure for this type of cancer. Just what they needed when they're still trying to get a number 1 spot in either the East or Wild Card standings.
  16. Wow, great gesture. Shows that there are things that players see as more important than their game. Cheers Reds!!
  17. I heard about this on ESPN this morning and he said he blamed the management for not having good team chemistry. I wonder why?
  18. Hah after last year whatever you would have said to us wouldn't bother us
  19. Kaplerluver....you're starting to sound like missin_cabrera, missin_cabrera1, and redsox1234325034952430529350469235906 or w/e those numbers were.
  20. ...I hope you're kidding. You're saying Clemens, Wells, Cone, Pettitte were bad with the Yankees? Sorry, I have to assume that's sarcasm. Something like that can't be taken seriously...unless you were serious. God I suck.
  21. Or my cousin Nah, he's still playin college hockey but he was ranked like #200 something in the NHL draft. He's a soph in college.
  22. I'm a big Bruin fan, and a big Maple Leaf and Canadien hater.
  23. And the season's not even near over yet!
