  1. Agreed with SCM33 although it's more of a "Yankees suck at life" chant than saying they "actually suck." I dunno, I never really understood the point either. I guess you could say I'm MUCH more of a "Let's go Red Sox!" person than I am a "YANKEES SUCK!" person. I get behind my own team and motivate them more than worrying about a team that I couldn't care less about. It's much more effective rooting FOR your team than AGAINST another.
  2. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. I never thought I'd see Jose Lima with someone like that lol.
  3. Doesn't really matter the team it is, when you're being used as much as Timlin has been recently, you get tired. So I'm not worried about it just yet. Also it was raining last night, ball a little slippery?
  4. Seriously though, I think they randomly pick a day to follow baseball, then they see whos won the most, then pick. A LOT of it is bandwagoning. IMO
  5. Great, the Sox lose. This game means nothing to you anymore. f***.
  6. Hmm, well maybe you got an angle I didn't? I can't freeze it either though so you may be right. I'm basically looking at Tek's back lol. I'll take your word for it though, if you feel so strongly
  7. It's not always us chanting "Yankees Suck" either. If I remember correctly, the Angels fans all the way out there in Anaheim were chanting it too. It's not just the Sox fans that hate the Yanks many other teams' fans do as well. And yes, I agree with Sizzlin and 26 to 6 about the amendment ordeal.
  8. He was safe, they did it upclose on NESN, he did get in on time, and got the foot in.
  9. On Millar's HR: YoukOfTheNation: Was I just hearing things on the radio, or did Kevin Millar hit an actual home run? zax2834: no, you heard right. YoukOfTheNation: wow YoukOfTheNation: Freaky zax2834: lol i was like wait, what did don just say zax2834: HES ON THE ROIDS YoukOfTheNation: well, we know what must have happened YoukOfTheNation: that pitcher must have cut in front of him in line at KFC one day YoukOfTheNation: and gotten the last bucket of popcorn chicken zax2834: you may be right, my friend.
  10. lol, I was just saying, that's why parents complain. I don't like this idea, along with everyone else
  11. Well we all know A-Rod has great numbers and is an animal at the game, but we hate him anyway lol, mostly because of his character. Yeah he's with the Boys and Girls club and stuff, but he's still an *******. Pete Rose could donate money to a foundation, but I still think he would be an ******* with great career numbers.
  12. My parents still go ripshit on me when I say "suck" because I guess it was a cuss word in my parents' childhood that slowly turned into a common word during our generation. But it's weird because they don't care if I say "ass" or "bastard" or "bitch"...yeah. People are weird sometimes.
  13. You mean, Yankee Stadium is just as recognizable as FENWAY. Right? Lol, whatev. But yeah, if Fenway's not a historical landmark, I dunno what is.
  14. Royals suck, I'll be mad if we don't sweep
  15. I'm going with Cleveland as well, but that's just because of each team's play right now. The Yankees are safe with their lineup, but if their starters get tagged early against post-season teams, and their bullpen has to pitch the games, they're screwed. The Guardians are all around well-shaped, and have a helluva future with that young roster. Bob Wickman has turned into a pretty solid closer, and that lineup can hit. Oakland, well, what YS013 said.
  16. I was also listenin to the other lineman, and just like them, I thought he just collapsed with a cramp. That was before, of course, I found out he had died, I only heard he collapsed. But yeah, it's a scary thing for linemen in general and myself, because it could happen to any big guy that plays on the field. But yeah, you get a body cramp or two after every game but shake it off, obviously, this was nothing of the sort Prayers go out to his family.
  17. How many tix per game are you giving away? Sorry if I'm dumb and can't read right.
  18. Andre Davis is a solid WR, but didn't get a lot of attention because he was stuck on the Browns. He's definitely not a bad WR, and he's got the hands/speed to show. He'll be #2 or 3 on the depth chart, and expect some big yards out of him now that he's got a good club to work with.
  19. THE ROYALS WIN!!! The ROYALS WIN!!!!
  20. But the fact he grew all that, then it came back fairly quickly after he shaved it, is a possibility. And yes, SFIT, it is a side effect.
  21. Well yeah I know, just saying....
  22. Heh, I know JohnnyDug wants in on this, so might as well put her in as well.
  23. Maybe he'll be GM of the Yankees just to f*** them up? :harhar:
  24. Throwing 75mph at 14 years old isn't too shabby.
