    Eh, I think I might have had it a little worse. That next day sucked beyond belief, but when Boone hit the homer I sat in front of the TV and watched replay after replay hoping for a different ending. It ended up with me punching the wall pretty hard and bruising my hand (I didn't pull a Kevin Brown though). I cried myself to sleep also. I'm man enough to admit it. I don't think there's a Sox fan that didn't at least shed a tear that night.

    I think your hatred for Little glares because of that one bad decision. He wasn't that much worse than Francona, if worse at all. He made one bad decision: not taking Petey out. If he made that decision, he'd be here instead of Francona today.

You can't read peoples' opinions because all you're taking away are your own. Your apology is not accepted. You're continuing to be an *******. SCM, we're keeping an eye on him. He hasn't done anything (to our knowledge) that warrants a ban...yet.

    I think it is too. Think about the lingering pressure despite being a disappointing in the few years pre-2004. And, now that we won it, most Boston fans accept nothing less of the playoffs (much like NY). Take NY's atmosphere now, and add the intensity of that period pre-2004 that I just mentioned.

    It's where he's at his best defensively. I'm willing to give up some defense by benching Coco, but knowing that we have the possibility of a homerun hit into New Hampshire out of the guy at the plate. He hit .333 in limited ABs last year...there's no reason to suggest that given normal playing time he can never figure out a breaking ball. I'd rather watch WMP in CF any day.

    Eh, needs to cut down on the walks... What's killing him? Is he just having trouble with his command or is it that he's just pitching badly?
