    Beckett just said on the postgame show that he heard Navarro's jaw was broken and saw him laying unconscious after the collision. Beckett's a freak of nature...I wouldn't wanna run into him. EDIT: Riverside beat me to it, lol.

    Sox win 15-4! 22 games over .500 at 53-31. Nice. Please keep this going for this weekend...Detroit's going to be really tough. They had an offensive outburst today as well. The good news is that we don't have to face Verlander this time around.

    I know it was an out, but that was a loud out. Lugo's been seeing the ball a lot better it seems and I'm happy for the guy. He looks a lot better at the plate.

    A-Rod will opt out no matter what IMO. I'm pretty sure he can re-sign with the Yankees if he wanted to, but you KNOW that his salary this year is the minimum salary he'll get. By opting out he ensures himself at least the same salary...and in all likelihood, even more.

    Can you imagine trying to beat this team in a best-of-seven series? We'd be throwing out Beckett, Santana, and Matsuzaka back-to-back-to-back. Holy s***.

    Haha, Beckett's the last person they want to get into it with. He'll hit everyone of them if he wants to. Gomes is just going to get his teammates into trouble when he mouths to Beckett.

    I don't either. I never said he was turning it around. I said he is starting to come around, as in, starting to show signs of life (he hasn't forgotten how to play baseball). But what's wrong with giving him a little credit? Your hatred of him has reached new levels. You can't even give the guy credit for doing something right. I'm expecting some retaliation after that. The Rays are getting s*** on, so they might as well try to light a fire under their asses. Hopefully our batters will just walk away if that happens and take their base. That Tampa Bay dugout has a few people who would love to get into it (I'm looking at you, Delmon Young). Dukes got sent down right?

    Haha, we need the game sped up (also for Beckett's sake, not just for an official game) and you can depend on Lugo to get out...but watch him jack one right here. I'd be happier if he hit one out before anyone jumps on me.
