    Yeah. I can't say I'm laughing. What's funny is that I had a dream last night and Thumper and I were rooming together at Boston College. That's messed up. I honestly, sincerely s*** you not.

    Holy s***. I was beating Los Pepinos (ORS) by like 4 or 5 last night, and then I check today only to find out that he came back and beat me 7-4. Good God.

    It's the same rules as interleague. If it's in an NL park, there's no DH. If it's in an AL park, there's a DH.

    Are you going to take your head out of your ass? Drew's been hitting lately. Lugo hasn't...and not one person has stood by him while he's sucked. Some people are more patient than others, but aren't making excuses for his poor play. Now, are you going to contribute something to this board or are you only going to bait us? That Schmidt deal looks very sexy right now. So does that Pierre deal.

    This team sucks right now. Plain and simple. They better kick themselves in the ass because it's a miracle that their lead hasn't been drastically cut. Another inexcusable game to lose. Opportunities galore and didn't capitalize once.

    It was good, but Manny failed at driving in a run again... I think it's safe to say that it's a concern that's starting to show on the radar (my radar at least).

    Kilo wanted him too. I wasn't that objected to it either. 700 would have liked it also. I may not like the guy, but I root for the name on the front of the jersey before the name on the back of it.

    Well, they did just have a 14-15 record in June, only to somehow manage to maintain a double-digit lead in the East and be tied for the best record in the bigs. I don't know how that happens, but it means that the other teams have been sucking as well. (I know they happen to be the best team in baseball despite this slump, but a lot of what I said was out of pure frustration after losing a game that they were supposed to win.) I know they'll be a different team 3 months from now. Let's hope it's for better. I have to close this thread now, but if you want to respond to this post do it in the most recent gamethread.

    On a positive note: the month of June is over. July's a new month...and it's here in an hour and a half.

    I don't think I've ever been so irritated with this team before. Sure, I've endured heartbreak...but that's expected. Last year there were the injuries. This year they're in first place, sure...but they're so f***ing irritating sometimes. There was no excuse to lose this game. At least Toronto and New York lost. Thank God they both suck, because I can tell you this much...the Sox have their lead because the other teams suck; not because they've been playing well. They better right the ship soon. If they're still playing like this at the end of the year and they somehow manage to make the playoffs, they'll be swept out of the first round.

    It is, but they haven't played like it at all. There's been a terrible power outage and I'm praying it gets switched back on.
