i think its more like he pitches decently over a fair amount of innings. Like he gives up 3 or 4 runs over 6 innings, but he gets horrible run support. Then the bullpen usually implodes, and that secures the loss. Hopefully, today we can change that.

Im not sure of the exact details. But i was flicking through the channels on tv, and i heard someone on PTI (pardon the interuption) say schilling will not be playing in the allstar game. I wasn't sure why or how he decided this, but does anybody else know?

Maybe when kim gets back, he can take over the of blowing saves, and give Foulke a rest.

i kinda want to see giambi hit, and he can make a fool of himself. He will hit like no homeruns, and pull his hamstring during the homerun derby. haha

I voted 14-15, but i might be willing to go more. I mean i dont care if doesn;t have a 20 win season every year. He is part of the heart and soul of this boston redsox team. We need him here

The Yankees will not get Randy. If it is a battle between the sox and the yanks, the redsox wont let this slip through their fingers again. I hope.. agh

i agree, the early lead is important, like it was last night. I would ove to see double digits on the scoreboard again.

During the three game series with oakland the redsox scored 30 runs. That is a display of great hitting and power. If the sox can keep the run support going, we should still be able to win even with Lowe or Arroyo pithcing.

I hate to say this, but i don't think Ortiz is going to win. I would love to see him do it, but he just doesn;t have the experience. Sosa has been in the derby 3 times i think, so hes got more epxerience. Still... GO ORTIZ

Schilling- 11-4, 3.08 era Harden- 3-5, 4.05 era Schilling is going for his 12th win, and the redsox are going for their 3rd straight. If Schilling can pitch like himself, and the sox can keep up decent run support, than the game should be ours. If we sweep the A's, we will face Texas with tons of momentum. These two series with Oakland and Texas are possibly the most important games of the year so far. Go sox!

i was at the game, but i left a little early. I was reading through the posts, and calm down Pedro dude. Pedro pitched really well. Only 3 runs. You gotta calm down man. I had green monster seats. It was sick. it looked awesome to see Manny's monster jack. -
