I agree with this, but IMO it's at the point where we needed to do something that would address life after KG, Paul, and Ray. Rondo may or may not be the "Chris Paul" type building block, but the kid is damn good, and one of the better 2 way players in the NBA. I think $11 million is a fair price.
It's also easy to say Rondo's being helped along, but also you need to figure he's had some sort of ceiling, especially in regards to the numbers and can put up. I think you take Ray, Paul, and KG away he can be a 18/5/11 guy in his prime, maybe better.
