  1. This fight is real real close, gonna come down to the 5th, I have it at 2 rounds apiece. edit: first and third for miller, seconds and fourth for shields.
  2. Miller is too smart to get submitted by a triangle, he's good from top control. Worst case from Miller being on top for him would be an armbar by Shields.
  3. Nets are awful, honestly disappointed with a 10 point win... even without Daniels. We played awful, but a win is a win.
  4. yes sir, as you can see by the bottom right corner of your TV screen
  5. Sokuodjou looked good, but was IMO outclassed by Gegard.. pumped for the next 2 fights.
  6. There are four pretty solid fights there...I'm pretty excited to watch. Count me in the group of wanting to see Fedor get knocked out. Mousasi should roll over Sokuodjou, Miller vs Shields should be a great fight, and Werdum gets to be tested a little more this time around, Silva isn't an awful fighter.
  7. This season is nowhere near over but I'm glad I'm not one of the bums who had lofty expectations this year.
  8. They should be positioning themselves for Kovalchuk now. This team doesn't have but one goal scorer right now.
  9. One of my favorite things is just watching college basketball, love it. We can start this thread out with a big fat lol @ Syracuse for losing to DII Le-Moyne last night (albeit an exhibition game).
  10. And that's why I quit quite a few pages ago.
  11. The Celtics are something else defensively this year, it's absurdly fun to watch.
  12. I've said this before, but I believe Phil wanted to be here, but was getting pissed that we were lowballing him.
  13. The fact that he's overshadowed by KG and PP is what keeps him playing at a high level.
  14. Honestly, this isn't even worth responding to.
  15. Personally, I'm done wasting my time with this fool. People shouldn't be responding to his posts.
  16. You most certainly could not build a team around Ray Allen at this point in his career. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He could be a 2nd option on a good team, a 3rd on a great team. The reason he still looks so good is because he doesn't have to carry the load like he was in Seattle and Milwaukee and he doesn't need to press to find his offense here.
  17. Ray definitely is in the twilight of his career. BUT That makes him sound like a bum, and he's not, it's just a testament to how special he was in his prime and how good shape he's in right now that lets him continue to play high level ball.
  18. I agree with this, but IMO it's at the point where we needed to do something that would address life after KG, Paul, and Ray. Rondo may or may not be the "Chris Paul" type building block, but the kid is damn good, and one of the better 2 way players in the NBA. I think $11 million is a fair price. It's also easy to say Rondo's being helped along, but also you need to figure he's had some sort of ceiling, especially in regards to the numbers and can put up. I think you take Ray, Paul, and KG away he can be a 18/5/11 guy in his prime, maybe better.
  19. I also think it was a stupid idea not to start Rask today. The guy was coming off a shut out, we need to find out what he's got sooner or later, why not see if the kid can get hot?
  20. ^^Eww.. not at all. They didn't go for the kill. They had about 4 or 5 chances to increase the lead and bust it open but just got sloppy and complacent.
  21. I've been trying to convince Stocker all season long about how subpar Thomas has been, especially considering the contract we gave him. It's a lost cause.
  22. Just got back from the game. Both the C's and Hornets were very sloppy, but what matters is we hit the shots down the stretch. It was troubling that we couldn't pull away with a ten point lead early in the 4th, but we were still able to keep a distance. If everything wasn't falling for Paul and Peja tonight it would have been a 30 point blow out.
  23. Just frequented my first game of the year. Tuukka was awesome, bringing his GAA down to 2.40ish if my math is right?
  24. just to emphasize your point YANN f***ING DENIS....
