  1. I'm not bitter, I could really care less if I win or lose in this thing. I think that a lot of people looked at the flashy offenses and big name players when they made their picks (not taking a dig at anyone ranked ahead of me or below me whatsoever). I just think that my team didn't get the proper respect it deserved.
  2. The fact that I wasn't even in the top 5 shows people really don't know what they're doing. If they can't set up their own team right, how are they going to fairly judge my team?
  3. His defense is definitely better than yours.
  4. Ngata is unbelievable in the middle, and Cameron Wake is establishing himself as an elite pass rusher this year. Woodley is one of the best linebackers in the league, I planned on taking him until Kilo did, and both Greenway and Dansby are very underrated linebackers. Vilma is nothing special, but I like his speed in this matchup and I think that really helps him a lot.
  5. WB He's got a true RB tandem in two guys who are used to and know how to split carries. He's got a good WR core with defined roles. To sum it up in on sentence, I love WB's offense and hate Ital's defense.
  6. I like Kilo here by a field goal. Tough one to decide here because these are the two best teams left. I think his front seven is good enough to stop Y228's running attack, and his 3-4 is versatile enough to where he can stop the run, rush the passer, and cover the underneath routes. I love Y228's defense as well, but Brady has a ton of weapons here. Colston, Cotchery, Nelson, and Hernandez are all great possession/under targets and that's what Brady thrives off of.
  7. Same with me, I'm too tired right now, but I'll put my thoughts up tomorrow morning.
  8. I'll get my votes in later tonight after the game
  9. I know we did this for baseball probably a multitude of times, but I don't think we have for the other sports. NHL: Mike Richards, Daniel Carcillo, Chris Pronger, Claude Giroux, JVR, Jeff Carter (yes, I love half the Flyers, sue me), Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf, Ryan Callahan, Chris Drury NBA: RSSFL (Kevin Durant, obviously), Russ Westbrook NFL: Loved Bob Sanders in his prime (what a short one), Al Harris
  10. Below average defensively? Since we got rid of Moss we're allowing a TD less per game (17ish ppg) We just allowed 10 points in 2 games vs teams who are a combined 18-8. Jsut because our defense wasn't great to start doesn't mean it isn't improving. (pro-tip: it is, at an alarmingly high rate)
  11. Honestly, for me, it might come down to who makes a better argument for their team, either you or Kilo.
  12. I'm nto sure if I can choose between those two teams, I thought they were the two best. This is gonna take some thinking.
  13. The 3 teams I thought were the best (me, kilo, y228) ended up with only one of them making the finals.
  14. Well the first one should be a lot lower, the second one should be a little lower, cause I didn't differentiate bewteen offensive points and defensive/ST points, and we had about 21 in that Miami game, so they should be around even to slightly lower with Moss.
  15. With Randy Moss: NE PPG: 32.75 Opp PPG: 24 Without Randy Moss: NE PPG: 31.5 Opp PPG: 17.7
  16. Randy who? Last 6 quarters we have 78 points and WE DONT EVEN HAVE MOSS THE MOST TALENTED PLAYER IN THE WORLD HOW WILL WE EVER SURVIVE WITHOUT HIM!!!!! Oh and we've only allowed 3. Losing Randy made us better on both sides of the ball, and more importantly in the locker room. I can never get sick of bumping this thread.
  17. We have an underground agreement to do so.
  18. It's kinda funny, I kind of assumed me and Y228 would be voting prettymuch the same way, since we both built incredibly similar teams and it seems like we kind of value similar things in a football team.
  19. I have Flowers and Polamalu...
  20. Reasons why I take Coco: 1. His offense is built extremely well -He picked two quarterbacks, while definitely unspectacular, do their job well, and don't need to be throwing the ball 2/3 downs to be effective. -He's got a very underrated RB tandem behind a good offensive line. We've been seeing what LT can do in NY when he's not the feature back, and in this offense I expect him to be more explosive. Jackson is his rock. 20 carries a game. -He also has a perfectly built WR core. Each player has a defined role, Fitz is the go to guy, Harvin is the playmaker, Henderson is his deep threat, Edwards is his all purpose guy. 2. Ital's offense, while talented, I feel is poorly constructed -He's got plenty of talent, but I feel like there is not enough variety. -He lacks a viable rock RB who can run the clock down late in the game, so he's really going to rely on Manning a little bit too much. -Marshall and Welker are pretty much the same type of player. Get open underneath and pick up YACs, same with Evans and Henderson running fly patterns. -I don't see enough variety here to be extremely successful against a very good defense. 3. Coco has guys who can cover the middle of the field -Ryans and Willis are two of the best and quickest middle guys in the NFL. They have the proper athleticism that it takes to not only stuff the run, but cover guys and wrap them up to limit the YAC potential of Clark, Welker and Marshall. 4. I think Coco's running game eats this front 7 for breakfast lunch and dinner 5. Coco's defense is on the upswing while Ital has more veterans who are on the downswing -Ryans, Willis, Raji, Davis is an awesome young core who are all probably going to be Pro-Bowl guys 6. John Harbaugh is not the coach for Ital's team -Harbaugh is a defensive coach, and isn't an offensive wizard. I think Ital's team is going to rely on blowing people out, and I think they will be somewhat limited by not having an offensive type of coach like a Martz type of guy.
  21. This is a really tough one. I'm pretty sure my original rankings had these teams further apart than they look right here. I'm really not a fan of Ital's offensive line, nor am I a fan of his defense, but there really is no denying that there's talent there. I think I'm going to take Coco here. For a few reasons I'll go into in a bit. I know Ital put a little time into this so I want to give him a fair reasoning here.
  22. Realistically here, Kilo's defense was built to stop YTRBs. He's got a real strong front seven who will be able to limit the run attack, and I don't feel as if Orton is good enough to beat this defense on his own. He's going to need to make some plays, and I don't think he's really the guy who is going to get knocked on his ass and get right back up and make a first down. Brady will shred YRTB's defense with screen passes to Forte and Hernandez, and I think he'll have success going over the top. Kilo's offense is perfectly balanced here, two well contrasting backs, a mid-level/posession guy with Colston, and over the top thread in White (best 1-2 duo in the league by far), a good slot guy in Nelson and a very underrated guy in Cotchery. The Kilo by double digit points. Neutral field I could see the spread being 7+.
  23. I really don't care, I was being facetious. Tough matchup against a team just as good...what can ya do?
  24. YOU GUYS SUCK STOP SCREWING ME OUT OF THIS!!!!!
  25. The Celts are currently putting a CLINIC on.
