  1. Yeah... I think todays game is somewhat of a big game. We have been slumping lately and we need a win to keep our morale up and try to get a little bit of momentum so we dont end up losing another series. We have got Miller on the hill today - dont really know what you will get from him. Hopefully we will get all of the good outings and promise he has shown throughout his career in Houston. He needs to come up huge today.
  2. I havent really commented on this topic yet because I'm not really sure about it. The few appearances that Curt has had, hes been pretty much terrible, and just didnt look like his self. I dont really want to see that anymore, it really disturbed me. It would be much better for us, and the teams playoff future this season, if Schilling waiting until he was 200% ready to pitch. Our rotation is pefectly fine right now, but theyre just not performing the way they should. I have confidence that they can start pitching much better than they have and this team can go on a roll. But I dont know when, hopefully soon. But, this is always a tough time of the season for the Sox, because we pretty much suck at interleague play, and it doesnt help that we play the divisions two best teams right away. Obviously if we had Schilling, he would have made a difference, and we would probably have a better record, but I think its better for not only his own future not to further injure himself, but its better for the teams future as well if he can come back and pitch as best as he can. Its a tough situation to deal with, but I think in the end we will be fine.
  3. We are all probably doing bad, seeing as how we got our asses handed to us... Welcome to the site.
  4. We need to get into what I would call a groove... very soon, or else it will be too late to catch up to the O's
  5. Wow, we are playing pretty terrible of late...
  6. The Cubs score 3 on a solo homer by Burnitz and a 2 run homer by Hollandsworth... We got one back on a RBI single by Renteria... 3-1 Cubs
  7. I was waiting for that first anti-yankee comment... took a while though
  8. Welcome to the site, Matt. You know what I've always wanted to do... when someone new joins and they post here write... "Welcome, to the China Club... a chingy chong chung cheng, a chingy chung chung cheng..."
  9. Peep the new avatar, bitches... its my boy, GUAPOOOOOOO!
  10. If he plays long enough, no doubt he will get it.
  11. Hahahahahahaha... nice one RSR
  12. From ESPN Insider I wouldnt mind that. As much as I have grown attached to Pierce, it just doesnt seem that he wants to be here as much with Walker and Payton probably gone. If we could get MArvin Williams or Chris Paul though, that would truly end up great, not to mention cutting all that cap. Our future would look so damn fine if we did this.
  13. Last I heard, the Celts were in talks with the Blazers about a potential deal sending Pierce there for the number 3 pick in the draft.
  14. You guys see yet? Wells still has it. Am I the only one that doesnt want to give him up or throwing him in the pen. He is still a good pitcher and will be very valuable while Curt is hurt.
  15. The O's lost today to the Pirates, 6-1. Pittsburgh took 2 of 3 from them.
  16. I saw the first 10 minutes last night, and some more of it tonight on a repeat showing. It was pretty funny, definitely entertaining... I was laughing.
  17. Congrats to Cam, he deserved it more than anyone. Had he not gotten hurt, he would have been one of the top players in NHL History. On another hockey note, apparelntly the NHL and NHLPA have come to some sort of agreement on salary cap?
  18. I see the comparison to Marion... but Camby?
  19. You see while Bellhorn might not be the best, he is valuable this team. Hes doesnt blab in the media, and he is a fairly decent hitter. Come on guys, give him a chance. Next year though, I'd like to see either Hanley or Pedroia.
  20. We dont really need any changes, we just need to light a fire under them. Get them to start playing better and more consistent.
  21. Meh... I kinda want San Antonio to win it. Theres something about them... Ginobili is one of my favortie players in the NBA.
  22. ...he picked a great time to pitch 2/3 scoreless...
  23. When Schilling gets back, I get the feeling that Wakefield will be headed back to the bullpen...
  24. What happened with him and Nixon? I missed it, and didnt hear anything about it...
