  1. The third inning the past two games is where it has fallen apart for us. Lets hope we can fix that today. 0-0 Bottom 3rd
  2. If traditions hold true, the Red Sox will put it together behind Wakefield.
  3. I'm writing a letter to Ben Sheets to demand a trade to Boston, right now!
  4. Yeah Renteria is stinking up the place right now.
  5. Foulke threw too many changeups. I was saying, when is he gonna throw a fastball.
  6. Sox teeing of on Mariano again, I love it. We better score soon though, Foulke is only good for two innings.
  7. Clement pitched fine today. It was that Renteria Error that killed us, it lead to the three run third inning.
  8. Matsui continues to kill us... 3-0 Yankees That error REALLY hurts right now.
  9. In two games a gold glover for the Cardinals (Renteria) has made two errors... one of which could be an important run.
  10. Matt Clement had a good spring, especially with his control which had been his achilles heel. Let's see if that manifests itself into a good performance today. Last time we faced Pavano we knocked him around, in that like 25-8 game against the Marlins where they didn't record an out until 10 runs were scored. I have a good feeling about this, but we will see.
  11. Dmitri Young hit 3 HR's, on pace for 486
  12. It's like Ortiz against the Yankees... only Red Sox player that really got a good hit off of RJ.
  13. I think we're fine the rest of the way. David Wells just doesn't do it for me. I'd like to see Ben Sheets in a Red Sox uniform by the Trade Deadline.
  14. I don't think it was wise to put a newbie in a tight game. It almost seemed like a concession on the part of the Red Sox. Oh well, when do we play again, Tuesday?
  15. I don't think Wells' head was all there, in fact I think this will be a reoccuring problem due to his emotional problems.
  16. Nice Job Mike Myers. Ramirez having a horrible night thus far, Johnson pitching better than expected. On a bright note, the Yankees do have Tom Gordon warming up in the bullpen.
  17. Well written story yags. I personally believe there's too much hype regarding the AL East in general. However, when healthy, the Boston Red Sox have the second best rotation in baseball, second to only the cubs. Like that song by Tears for Fears goes... "just when you think it's all over... it's not over!"
  18. Ok, I'm gonna go out the limb here and add the fact that Randy Johnson is 42 years old... a credit to him for pitching so well last season, but its only a matter of time before that knee disentigrates. Not trying to start anything, just stating the facts. Older pitchers generally pitch better in the NL anyway... well pitchers in general.
  19. I like these contest. I'm in!
  20. Sweet, I'm in! I can enter them all right? I can just only win one... if I've read correctly.
  21. If I'm not mistaken, Arroyo pitched extremely well down the stretch...
  22. Why was the Florida game post-poned? I busted out my Green Jersey for this day... oh well, at least there's college BBall today. I got a jump start on my usual st. patties day tradition this year... if you know what I mean.
  23. 16 is a pretty good amount. are we going to have divisions, or just as is?
  24. okey doke... works for me.
