I would have liked to score there, but I think the second time around that Wright will get hit hard. Schilling showed suprisingly good control in the first inning, but I doubt it will last, but we shall see.
I don't think he will be very sharp in his first outing, and I think 6 innings will be his limit. So...
6.0 IP, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K's
I also think Wright will get hammered, he will do better once he builds some confidence though.
I have to say. Of all our starters... Wakefield has given us the two strongest outings... why can't we get this guy an extension... at least as like a bullpen guy.
here's a stat, when pitchers walk the first batter they come around to score 60% of the time. Mo has a problem with walking batters against the red sox.
