There were some rumors in the offseason about Beltran getting traded to the redsox for Damon and someone else. (not totally sure about this) I just read an article on him on ESPN and they are comparing him to an early Bonds. I would love to see Beltran on the Sox, but i really dont want to get rid of Damon. His contract is up at the end of this season and he will most likely be traded or go into the free agent market and wont resign with the royals. Yankees, Sox, Dodger and even the Tigers were teams mentioned in the article about him on ESPN. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor...phil&id=1794987 Wouldnt be a bad move to go after Beltran.

Agreed, hope Arroyo gets in this game. At least the sox are scoring runs and hitting the ball, its there crappy defense and bad starting pitching that has hurt them this game. I thought Mark Bellhorne and Pokey Reese were supposed to be defensive improvements?

I would like to see one of the big 3 from A's come to boston. Preferably Hudson, but he is there best and he will stay with A's...I think there is a good shot that Zito could be coming to town...

I was reading a peter gammons article yesterday and he mention something along the lines of trades happening for Barry Zito, Kip Wells, and Jason Jennings. I wouldnt mind picking up Barry Zito, despite the struggles he is having this season.

offensively and defensively id much rather have nomar....bellhorne is the only one batting good, crespo and reese are sucking it up...we need nomar back in the lineup for his bat.
