    I'd actually prefer watching it on C-Span to be honest. It seems more pure, and you'd probably get a better feeling for the proceedings. Unless, of course, the other networks just leech the C-Span feed. And this doesn't compete with any tourney of any kind for me. I hate college basketball.

    On a related note, does anyone know when the steroid congress hearings are? It would be interesting to catch them on C-Span if they get covered.

    Its no secret that opening day is almost upon us. We may or may not be considering running a few contests in order to celebrate the return of baseball and the forum's first birthday (April 1, 2004 marked its first day up). That said, we want to hear from you guys. What would some cool contests be? We're not talking about prizes, we can figure that out on our own, but what would you like to see? Boring contests are no fun for anyone involved except those who win, so let's try to avoid those. Feel free to tell some friends/acquantances/neighbors about talksox as well, because some contests will only be open to already established members of the community, and we'd hate to see them kept out of them.

    It's integrated in my car's audio systems. It's an option in all Hondas and Acuras.

    XM radio just launched their brand new baseball coverage, and its amazing! It has basically every radio broadcast for games, including the spring training games, and it gives you the score right on the car radio screen! I take back anything bad I ever said about XM. Their classic rock stations may suck, but they have baseball! Now I'll have no excuse not to listen to the sox.

    It is the spring, and outings are limited to like, 8 pitches, but didn't he just pitch two days ago or so? Maybe my sense of time is off, but I think that's what it is.

    I read the story on Sheets in this month's ESPN, and he seems like he'd be a perfect fit for the sox clubhouse as well. It seems like he's out their to have fun as well as compete.

    From today's globe: It seems that, because of the people he will be testifying with (if he does attend), Schilling is somehow implicated in all this steroid stuff. His name certainly doesn't fit with those massive sluggers, that's for sure. I can't understand why he would be asked to come to this, apart from his overwhelming integrity and passion for the game. "some people that I know that I'm friends with." Does this mean the republican leadership, or players?
