  1. Go to the Braves game I say. The Braves are a stronger team and will give you more bang for your buck.
  2. Pretty much by default, stocker323 is the winner of this contest! Congrats man. I have your address from a previous contest, so please specify what size shirt you would like and I will forward your information on.
  3. Neal impressed me. Not only did he remain calm, trying to seperate people, but he's effin huge.
  4. 11-3. No way are we blowing this one.
  5. Tension runs high as a brawl breaks out. Nixon still looks pissed off.
  6. So, even with this past series with the D-Rays and Orioles, you're telling me that Manny is firing on all cylinders right now?
  7. The image is a crappy bitmap, and the text isn't legible. And for some reason I also got a peep at some of your other files that you probably don't want other people seeing when I opened that bmp. You must have uploaded it incorrectly.
  8. Make it 3-0. No way we're going to have a repeat of last night. Especially not against Nomo.
  9. Howdy. The game's at 2:15, just a heads up. Damn these weird times.
  10. Shoppach looks to be doing well. Varitek is signed through 2008. It's apparent that there will be a fairly large amount of overlap between the two. What will happen? Is there going to be a form of mentor-apprentace training going on, or is one of the two gone?
  11. Earlier this week he was on fire, but then he regressed a little. This has nothing to do with our starting pitching, but look at his numbers for the past 3 games (2 of them losses): Boston AB R H RBI BB SO LOB AVG Ramirez, M, LF 5 0 1 1 0 2 3 .274 Ramirez, M, LF 3 1 1 0 0 1 0 .281 Ramirez, M, LF 3 0 0 0 1 2 1 .278 [/Code] 1/11 is not "firing on all cylinders". Especially not when he strikes out 5 times.
  12. The last time the Yankees had an equally bad start to the year was in 1997, the last year that they did not win the Al East. Can you imagine? 200+ million dollars and they can't even win the division!?
  13. Last night: HBP: Crawford (by Schilling), Millar (by McClung). Two nights ago: HBP: Gomes (by Wakefield), Millar (by Kazmir), Ramirez, M (by Kazmir). Four nights ago: HBP: Millar (by Chen). Five nights ago: HBP: Millar (by Halladay), Catalanotto (by Foulke). Bottom line: Sucks to be Millar right now. Hit 4 times in the past 5 games!
  14. Our offense didn't completely flounder last night....we scored 5 runs. Bronson's been pitching well enough to keep us in the game, so it more than likely that we'll win this one. We can't get swept by the D-Rays.
  15. I just realized that you're out west, so while we're all over here in Boston sleeping like babies you're thinking "where the hell is everyone?".
  16. Manny's our last out. We can't lose!
  17. AHHHHHHHHHH! DAMMIT! How can we be losing!
  18. Dammit. Alex Gonzalez, I hate you. 5-4.
  19. Ortiz's homerun was estimated at 455 feet. It was three rows in front of the back wall at the Trop. I'm still amazed at how far that went.
  20. Now its 4-2, I hope you didn't speak too soon.
  21. If Schilling does well tonight, even though it's against the D-Rays, everything has finally fallen into place. The pitching was a big question mark for this team, especially going into the beginning of the season, but I think they've proven themselves (even though we've only played 20 or so games). When Miller gets back, watch out MLB.
  22. You talk to yourself on aim?
  23. It beats the 2:15 starts on weekdays, thats for sure. I hate missing games because I have to be somewhere.
  24. Oh, I forgot that you live in New York. Haha.
  25. Just a heads up, the game's at 6:15 tonight.
