    He really hauled ass for my fantasy team last year, and I got him off of waivers. I think I'm gonna go ahead and give him a 7/10. FYI, he's hitting below the Mendoza line for 2005 so far.

Tack onto that the errors he's made recently, and something is not right. Renteria is a MUCH better player than this, but we're all getting impatient for him to snap out of it.

    I'm glad he's starting against Seattle and not New York / a division rival. He doesn't need a high-tension game to get back into the groove of things.

    I'm sorry to say, but you're wrong. Sure, the sox are having problems, but they're paling in comparison to your guys. Our team may be half dead, but we're 3.5 games up on you, and you have a losing record in May. Sometimes sox fans have a point, but you've just got your yankee blinders on. The amount of rings your team has won compared to us has nothing to do with this. Even after the team gets shuffled around (If I hear "New Look Yankees" one more time I'm gonna punch someone), you still lose by 7 to the D-Rays. And Kevin Brown sucks. As for the O's (your pick for the division winners if its not the yankees), they have absolutely no shot at winning. There lineup is killer, yes, but they have no pitching. Once Brian Roberts begins to perform at a human level, they're done. And its not like they have an 11 game lead here. They're only 3 up on the sox and 2 up on the jays. If the yankees continue to lose like this, I give it 3 months before you're rooting for another team.

    How is it? I wanted it for myself, but I couldn't cheat, so I had to send it to you. In any case, damn those celts. They could have won that game so easily. At least the sox won.

    This whole season has less of a sense of urgency for me because of last year. But that doesn't mean you're not supposed to boo bellhorn. The guy strikes out EVERY time! Damn Bellhorn.
