  1. Never listened to one of his game calls, but its sad to hear. RIP. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/baseball/mlb/05/30/redsox.announcer.ap/index.html
  2. Because it made them both perform excellently, thats why. There was a sum of 300,000 involved or something. It seems to have worked. And even if you don't mean it, every single one of your posts is antagonistic because of your signature. So long as you aren't an utter moron you're welcome here. Welcome. I guess.
  3. No, I'm not that much of a loser. If I had a tshirt I would wear one though. That's where I draw the line.
  4. Wow I really hope it doesnt rain, or the rain falls before the game. I hate weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last day like this, yes?
  5. Hey hey hey! Is this the jump on me thread or the discuss game threads thread? Sheesh, leave my fingernails out of this.
  6. No. I'm going too. I'll bring my own for free. I'm sitting 3rd base side in some damn nice seats with calvnhobs.
  7. So much for the OBP of 1.000
  8. Glad you like. Believe it or not, last season (towards the middle-end) we sometimes had more posts per day than we do now. The switch to vbulletin kinda screwed us in that department, but its coming back up now. If you wanna check out the old board, look here: http://talksox.com/index.php
  9. Apparently they switched numbers or something. :dunno:
  10. Personally, I like having the threads in order of the games, everything is nice and neat, so that rules out stickying the "important" threads. Also, having too many stickies makes the forum too cluttered and non-navigable. We could have a thread in the regular sox forum with links to the games and a description of each if you would like. Again, I really hate pinning threads unless its absolutely necessary, so we could see if it needed to be put at the top or not.
  11. We'll have 'em uploaded tomorrow.....if you can wait that long. I don't know what the cause of that problem is though, sorry.
  12. Yea, a great sign. This is one of those starts that can turn a pitcher's season around. What if he becomes are ace now?
  13. What is all this Anaheim nonsense? I believe they're the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
  14. Sox fan in Tex, soxie thefangirl, YanksHater213, Zenny, I salute you. But I dunno if you cheated and voted after the fact. If so, shame on you.
  15. I give this series an A-. Two ass whoopings handed to the yankees + a loss. Fine by me.
  16. I don't get why you would take Wells out there. He gave up a hit to Sheff, big deal, there's one out in the inning and Sheff has half of the yankee's hits. Wells could have easily completed this game.
  17. Ahahaha, foul ball into the radio booth. I heard the thump.
  18. Or maybe they made him pitch good?
  19. No kidding. He's only had 37 ABs this year, what is this!
  20. Renteria is on fire! He can do whatever the hell he wants. 9 for his last 10......that can't be ignored.
  21. Ugh. Error on Wells. I hate it when the fans get back into the game over things like this. And Beantown, what do you mean changed numbers? I'm listening on the radio.
  22. Wells is getting quick outs. Last inning was 4 pitches, and Sanchez was just one pitch one outted. Mussina, on the other hand, has something like 80 pitches.
  23. Fine, what's more likely is that one of these teams could lose in the ALDS. We aren't perfect, and the Twins/Chisox/Angels could possibly beat one of 'em.
  24. I caught it on the radio....it landed in the black hitters background right? Thats about 450 feet.
  25. 3 run inning so far, no outs.....this is great.
