    There's a difference between being optimistic and being blind, and being realistic and being pessimistic. It may be better to have a positive outlook on things (and how can you not when we've been winning recently), but you really have to consider things from all angles. I'm not saying the sox will definitely fall back, I don't believe they will, but it sure would suck to set yourself up for dissapointment.

    Els is not a yankee fan, that's a pretty funny statement though. He's right though, the sox aren't invincible. Bronson gave up 10 hits last night to the TIGERS, and we can't close out games for our life.

    It is somewhat ridiculous the amount of Sox-related sites that are out there. And they're all updated frequently. We really are a sickly passionate bunch.

    Any flat-footed Major League first baseman can hit for power (which, by the way, Millar doesn't do). In fact, they are EXPECTED too. Aside from A-Rod/Tejada/Formerly Nomar, any offensive production from a SS is generally considered a bonus. Renteria's and Millar's numbers are virtually identical, except Renteria has done it in roughly 100 more at bats. Neither is a goat (although Millar often makes an ass of himself, so I guess I should so donkey), and neither is a god. Let's leave it at that, ok?

    Right, the waivers move would make sense if they would want to trade them, but they presumably don't. Maybe they did it to get attention, kinda like a "Hey! Don't forget about us!" move.
