So that's saying that this was initially planted in order to get the Sox and Yankees in a bidding war that would benefit the White Sox? And now that that's not going to happen, the White Sox are going to look somewhere else for the trade? Intriguing and kinda cool that teams plant rumors if its true, but I don't know if thats the case here.

Is this "At the door in Cooperstown" assessment yours or someone else's? I don't think he's a lock for the HOF. I remember hearing that every single player ahead of him on the career hits list is in, which isn't hard to believe as he approaches 3,000. But still, the case isn't completely clear cut.

Alcohol enemas can kill you. Word on the street is that's how Marilyn Monroe died. AND, the important part of this post: Part of the Dodger Blues deal is that you guy's can't derail all threads and turn them into Dodgers threads. There's basically no link between the Sox and Dodgers. A thread about Papelbon shouldn't turn into a thread about Saito.
