Man oh man. So that means the LPGA out negotiated MLB for national broadcast rights with Fox???? We are only getting the game here because we are a Red Sox market?? Holy jumpin' Jesus!

 

In Boston as I type the Fox affiliate has the Sox game and Foxsports1 has the Cubs at Mets.

 

The only golf on tv is on the golf network.

 

At least on Comcast.

Holy crap, I know Nunez has a bad knee, but good god, he looked like he was running in quicksand. Is that really as fast as he could run? He looked like he was about to stumble and face plant. Get him out of there.

I just watched it again. I think he thought he kicked the baseball. Would have been a close play if he ran hard the whole way

Fox just showed another angle. He did step on the baseball. Bizarre.

I don't understand this. Some of our posters are getting the Sox on Fox (Dr Seuss? LOL) so why are we getting the LPGA? Is the game blocked out only in some markets?

 

That is f***ed. Maine is a big market.

 

Have you tried the feed on Reddit? Probably not legal but you can watch.

Not only are some of us scratching our head with Nunez starting over Holt, but I've gotta believe even Holt is scratching his head.

I keep posting this because I believe it. Nunez is afraid of the baseball at the plate. Do you see how he overreacts to pitches that aren't even that close to hitting him?

Yeah, I had to use reddit until the 5th inning, I was also getting LPGA. Not sure what was going on with Fox.

I am not sure what is happening. But either Cora has a love affair with nunny or Holt kicked his dog. There is just no reason for nunny to have been put in this game against verlander instead of Holt.

 

It has happened in a few instances already this season and it has got to be some hunch that Cora is playing. Nunny, bad knee, lousy 2nd baseman, RH hitter. Holt, I think his wheels are OK, at least twice the 2nd baseman and given he hits from the left side, I just don't get it.

I was watching a college game before the Sox came on where they were talking about a player who played all nine positions in one game. It was a seven inning game and he pitched and got the last two outs of the game.

I really do think that joe buck wants to bang a lot of professional athletes. last year I heard him say some absurdly weird s*** about Antonio brown and how beautiful his legs are, and how is route running makes his legs shake

 

I look at Buck and I say he would look comfortable in leather at a bar in Provincetown or San Francisco.

Freak atheletes are out there it's incredible .I know Swihart gets a lot of s*** here because of me but I'm genuinely impressed that this kid can play every position except CF and SS .
