1975 WS Game 6

MLBN is playing the game right now, and I'm watching. I was 7 when it was played, so I wasn't exactly a Sox fan then (especially from Calif...) but I do vaguely remember my brother watching the Series (he was 17 then). So it's trippy to see it now.

 

Some awesome plays and a great game. Too bad I don't have a DVD recorder or something.

 

Can you buy old ballgames on DVD these days, or does MLB keep them close to the vest.

iTunes has the "MLBs Best" series of classic games. Their selection is pretty limited and it costs a few bucks, but I've downloaded a few Sox games in the past... Pedro vs. the Yankees 17k performance was pretty good to watch again.

Try Rare Sportsfilms, located in Illinois. Good site for classic baseball. A fair amount of Red Sox video available.
