Why were you expecting Cleveland? Sizemore will stay in CF for quite awhile.

 

It's not like Jones was going to accept moving to another position in the OF.

I was expecting KC because of his ties with Moore, but this is a good situation for him, and a good signing (minus the dollars) for the Dodgers.

If they have the money to spend, then you spend it to keep the contract length to a minimum.

this makes our deal for jd drew seem much more palatable

christ,based on this deal drew should hold out for more money

 

as for jones

the 2 year deal maybe a gamble but it also gives him a shot at another big payday down the road....

but then again

if his #s in atlanta suck what will they look like playing in the spacious dodger stadium?

the upside is huge...

a 270 35/110 season is possible and would be considered a success

the down side is if he doesnt improve from last year the fans in l.a. will be crying in their vanilla chai and tofu snacks
