Jones?

So apparently someone has acquired Andruw Jones, but that team has not been named yet. Did perhaps the Sox make two additions today?

No one has "acquired" Jones yet, they have just put in a claim for him. Whatever team it is, will still have to agree to a trade with the Braves, which will probably not happen.

 

Very doubtful its the Sox who have claimed him. Id guess its either a NL team or the Angels.

Given what the asking price was when the Sox showed interest before the deadline, I think it’s safe to say it wasn’t the Sox. If the Braves really did want to move him it would have happened last week.
