I really don't see how Denver played tonight would warrant any respect. The only thing they did better than the Patriots is screw up less. If either Pitt or Indy plays a good game to win tomorrow, then they'll get all the press, and they'll deserve it.

Three of the turnovers were forced, though. The Troy Brown fumble was the only unforced turnover.

The INT by Bailey was just a beautiful play.

I don't see how the Broncos haven't done anything to warrant respect. All I heard all week is that the Pats don't beat themselves in the postseason... well?

TD for the Pats, still a game.

Bailey had good coverage on that play and Brady tried to force it. Without that screw up, there is no interception. The Faulk fumble resulted in a score only after the PI call was blown. Color me unimpressed.

And the play where Plummer forced it off his back foot? Broncos were in complete control before that. The fumbles were forced.

If only Adam hit that FG, then they would only be a TD away from covering the spread. (Not that it matters, because everyone picked the Pats)

... Not I!

Oh, I see. So it's Plummer's fault that their defense has given up over 300 yards since that moment? If only he hadn't thrown that ball.

Look, I'm not a homer Pats fan trying to spin this. The 'Skins are my team. I like Denver. I have family in Denver. But, as a football fan, they haven't really impressed me that much tonight. I'll give them credit for playing a pretty clean game, but I do not think they'll be as lucky in the next round. They'll have to play much better than they did tonight against either the Colts or Steelers.

No, but I'm saying even then, the Broncos had been moving the ball with ease, the crowd was into the game and the defense was playing suffocating football. That took the crowd out and suddenly New England didn't have to contend with the crowd until Sauerbrun got a body on the ball and forced a fumble. How's that not a good play by the Broncos? Does he fumble if he just slipped and nobody made contact with him?

Plummer made a bad play, I don't see anyone taking away from that interception. That lead to three points, shall we take those three points off the board. That drive probably would've been a Bronco's score, just like the Patriots' possession. Or the bad play call on 4th, wasn't a great play by Samuel, just a bad play call.

We just beat a team that doesn't beat itself... why no love?
