Hi, my wife and I are making our first trip to Boston and it wouldn't be complete without a trip to Fenway. I am planning on buying some tickets on ebay tonight or tommorow unless someone here can help come up with another (cheaper) way ? I am wondering what advice you could give someone coming to Boston/Fenway for the first time ? What are the best/worst seats ? What should I make sure not to miss ? any advice will be appreaciated !

also, how hard is it to buy tickets outside the stadium ? this appears to be a pretty big game, so I didn't want to risk not getting tickets...

Uhh, I'm not particularly familiar with eBay, but I also know stubhub.com sells tickets too. Really, there aren't any "bad" seats at Fenway unless you get stuck behind a big pole. Tickets outside Fenway usually sell for about 10 dollars over face value, or at least that's my experience. But truthfully, it's kinda hard to get tickets outside.

Eh, "print-at-home" tickets I'm not familiar with at all. So I wouldn't know.

And, walk around Yawkey Way, visit a few stores. Walk around the concourse. Especially under the bleachers, that place this is sick. If you can, See if they will let you up to the Green Monster to get a view. I know I was able to go up their once and then left to go back to my seats for the game, but I don't know if they let people do that regularly. It was sick. Have a great time, and hope all is well in your home town in Louisiana :)

also, what is a "Print at Home" ticket....should I get these ?

Print@home tickets are tickets that you print out from the website. If you had purchased the tickets directly from the Red Sox, then they would be fine. However, in a reseller market, they're subject to fraud in two major ways. First, the resller could just print off as many copies as he wants. Second, they could just keep reselling the link. In either of these cases, the result is extra bogus tickets, only the first person to the gate will get in. Because they will be scanned and that code subsequently will be invalid. If you can find a seller on eBay that you can trust, you'd probably okay. I, personally prefer hard tickets, this eliminates the aforementioned problems and provides a souverneer. Good Luck.
