That splitter to Polanco wasn't just nasty, it was FILTHY.

He was better pitcher once he figured out he couldn't blow heat by them.

It didn't look to me like he was all the way warmed up, or maybe he's gassed throwing out of the 'pen. His velocity was way down. He hit 94 like once. He usually lives between 93-96.

 

EDIT: Although I am watching mlb.tv, and they are showing the Detroit broadcast. Sometimes they pad the home numbers and knock down the opponents on the gun.

To top it off, I went out for a coffee and found out the last remaining Dunkin' Donuts in the St. Louis metro area is closing next week. There's one on every street in Boston! I'm so addicted to their coffee, now I'll be in withdrawal.
