it's a fantastic book in which he's telling about his career and how he managed.

Actually it was not that great, Johnny sounded like an egotistical glory hog, hell "Juice" was a better read.

If you really want to read a great book, get Boomer Wells' book. It's the funniest damn book, I've read in awhile.

Yes, it was very entertaining, i read it when it first came out and i still find myself going back and reffering to it. I hope he writes another.

I heard Johnny's book was pretty bad so when i saw it i didnt bother to buy it (had the price not been so high i probably would have bought it).

He's a great player, but he doesn't know how to write a book. His whole idea in the story was "I'm great, I'm great, blah blah"

David Wells seems like a normal guy, he told great stories in his book, and added great similies (yeah I spelled it wrong) in his books, "Sounded like a warthog in heat"

ok maybe i qualified the book higher than others 'cause he's my favorite player. don't you like his personality or the way he writes?

what I liked about his book is that he made it easy to relate to. He showed you that he was probably more normal than any other player. Like who else eats at a mediocre Manhatten diner in the wee hours of the morning. lol

I still wouldnt mind reading another Boomer Book.

Little of both, I've never met him so I can't form an opinion, but he seems very egotistical, but he does seem like a really good teammate (he did have some good stories about the Red Sox clubhouse)

he hits well and his defending play is good too sooooo i guess he is a great playmate and fits nicely in the red sox team.

books can be critizised by others who didn't like reading it. everyone has his favorite.

thanks for your hint with bloomer wells' book. i'm gonna read it. i live in switzerland so it's pretty hard to get these books. that sucks!

I hated Damon's book, he comes off as such an *******. I find it Ironic how he jokes about the team is a group of idiots, but he really is an idiot, he really seems like he's not all that bright.

Do you think he could spell his name, if they spotted him the d,a,m, and o?

I love Damon and all, but the guy isn't a genius, as we've already established. Does he say "um" a lot in his book? :)

Other than he's great, and how he cheated on his wife, not much. He does say some interesting stuff about the clubhouse, but if you want a great book (I'm saying it again) go get Wells' book, it's fantastic.
