Not to mention the Giants have been in existence 22 years longer than the Yankees. The yankees are 8th on the all-time list I think, the Sox are 10th.

i think if you look at the list from 1903 on the Yanks are atop, if not 2nd. But no doubt the Giants are a top tier franchise, mostly from when they were here in NY, where their loss (along with that of the Dodgers) is still mourned by many.
