i agree that he could be a candidate, but he wont win going up against the likes of manny, ortiz, vlad, pudge. i would however, not being biased, give it to him over sheff.

 

durazo has something to carry, sheff does not. and now im going to get a big argument of how sheff plays when hes hurt...so intrigue me, empire.

70+ games is still a possibility of under 500, so it doesnt speak much...that can prove that they would almost be as bad as the devil rays or tigers, which in no way shape or form would be remotely possible. the yankees would still be fine without him. but the fact is, we cant go by what would have happened, this is what IS happening. if sheff is having a good year, fine. but there are plenty other people than sheff who deserve it. people like manny, vlad, pudge and ortizzle, who are actually carrying a team.
