Sox Fan In St. Louis

Hello all,

 

I am a Sox fan who lives in St. Louis and was wondering if anyone here is in the same predicament. If so, where do you watch the big games? I have the Extra Innings package, but none of my friends are big Sox fans so it gets pretty frustrating watching with uninterested people. Drop me a line.

Jason...I have the same problem for about half the season. I got to school in Chicago and for much of April, May, June, and September, I'm forced to watch the games either by myself or with people who could care less about the Sox...I prefer watching by myself under these circumstances.

 

Since you don't have a lot of options in StL, I suggest bostondirtdogs.com, sonsofsamhorn.com, and boston.com for half-decent Sox commentary/rumors/news/etc.

I keep up with all those sites, and they are great for info and commentary. It's tough being in a NL city rooting for a AL team, eh?

Don't get me wrong, I like the Cardinals, but finding anything but Cards' info and games on at bars is tough.

I feel your pain. I've been here in St. Louis for 8 years now and it's very tough. I moved here from South Florida where there is a great Red Sox bar and now I basically watch the games at home now. Unfortunately about three years ago WEEI stopped streaming on the net so now the only radio talk about the Sox on the net is at http://www.1510thezone.com.

Mosox, I've heard the mlbtv package is great. If you have a fast internet connection, you can watch nearly all the sox games and every other game in baseball. They also archive the games for later enjoyment. I think they are a few people here that use it, so you may want to ask them.

I got the MLB package on digital cable, so I can catch the NESN games at home. I'll also sometimes listen on the internet on the MLB radio package.
