    , I like their odds just as much as anyone else right now. Can you say the same about the sox?

    And it could be a huge missed opportunity to dump the expiring contracts for a big haul of prospects. As a Yankee fan, I would love for them to think they are in it, possibly add at the deadline and miss both the playoffs and the chance to give a tremendous boost to the farm system.

    Yanks sweep the double header and the series against the halos with some dominant starting pitching. Clubbed ohtani in the first game today and picked him off 1st after his only hit. Clutch pinch hit by Rizzo in the 2nd game saved the day after Jamo was perfect through 7 but the bats were dead.

    Yanks in a rain delay in the 9th of the matinee. Up 6-1, they hung 4 runs on ohtani in 3 innings. Nasty Nestor with 7 innings of shutout ball.
