  1. Yankees prospect Matt Sauer wasn’t perfect, but he did set a franchise record. The 17 strikeouts for Sauer, who began the game with five perfect innings, were the most by any Patriots pitcher in franchise history, including in the team’s Atlantic League era. The punch-out mark also was the most for any full-season starting pitcher in the minors — and majors — this season, according to the team’s website. The 23-year-old Sauer was the Yankees’ second-round pick in 2017 (54th overall)
  2. I just bought a vintage Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots
  3. I doubt Mookie resigns back with the Sox.
  4. I usually hit a few different venues. Last year I went to the Phillies, Tigers, Cardinals, Red Sox and Yankees facilities. Got an autograph from Gleyber Torres outside the Cardinals complex.
  5. I don't think they "set him up to fail". I mean, why would they want him to fail? I just think he's in a tough spot.
  6. Not at all. But if every team (or most) were, how much of an advantage is it?
  7. So if it's no big deal, why has there only been 1 player to accomplish it?
  8. Nobody said .300 alone should. But as I said, when you are the only player in the history of the game to hit .300 with 3000+ hits, 250+ HR's and 300+ steals that's pretty amazing considering how many players have played the game.
  9. So do you believe the rest of the teams were clean?
  10. So you don't think it's very tough to hit over .300 lifetime with a 20yr career? I'd be curious to see how many players have done that in the history of the game.
  11. I certainly don't condone steroids in baseball. Never have, never will.
  12. Yes, because average players end up 6th on the all time hit list. And there's plenty of "average" players who hit for a lifetime average of .300+ over a 20yr career. SMH
  13. I am not whoever you think I am. If you have an issue with me then may I suggest you put me on ignore.
  14. I remember that too! Although there's little evidence to support the theory that super balls or corked bats help to hit more HR's. In fact, some reports show quite the opposite: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/the-physics-of-cheating-in-baseball-19613464/
