  1. I have a hard time seeing him play for someone he played with.If I am the Titans I do not mess with the mojo Tannehill brought to them after the trade. I think they ante up for him
  2. The thing with Brady and the Raiders goes back to before this past season started, last August to be precise. The Raiders have the draft picks to move up in the draft to get their QB of the future, they have Brady's blindside tackle from the last championship team in Foxboro. A killer running back, a receiver from Clemson who told the planet he had a dream catching passes from Tom Brady ...lol... last and certainly not least Chuckie has a man crush on Brady, calls him The Terminator. We see a different landscape coming for the NFL next season, we expect to see Brees,Rivers and Carr all playing for different teams as well as Tom.
  3. I would take a flyer on Kipnis, if he is not asking for the farm, and Brock Holt must have an inflated opinion of his worth to remain unsigned, could have had a 29 year old Castro for a couple(6 million) bucks. What the heck, show us the second coming of Chuck Schilling.
  4. they need to order the bubbly
  5. We lived in San Diego from 2005-2017, and the place is great for the weather, but it is just not a sports city. The Sox 1B plays in Chicago, courtesy of Padre management. I think there is something in the water, names like Alomar, McGriff, and the wizard of Oz come to mind in past fabulous giveaways in trades. They might be wising up though if the names I have heard being tossed around are true. I want NONE of them. The Dodger situation is different and there is a history between the G.M's, so I do see a possible trade there that involves Verdugo as the centerpiece. We shall see.
  6. roaring my ass off, hang a gold star on that one
  7. Will he leave, or will he stay? Have heard rumors out here, that the Las Vegas Raiders and Gruden are going to make a play for him come free agency, your thoughts?
  8. lol, we seen firsthand last year an entire bullpen get burnt out, last year was hard to watch.
  9. yeah along with the dribbler up along the line, through Buckner's legs...took me 15 years and a new century to recover.
  10. Sox are fools if they negotiate through talk radio, the writing is on the wall, Betts has already decided he will not be playing in Boston in 2021, take it to the bank, they have a window until opening day to move him for something halfway substantial, after that and up to the deadline they get diminishing returns. Is it fair? nope, the real problem is the communist "luxury tax".
  11. Hate to be the realist here, but if it has not dawned on you yet that Betts intends to test the market, just like Tom Brady is going to test the market, which in fact is going to give Mookie all the more incentive to test his market in his sport when he sees the hoopla created by another Boston sports icon. I would say the impending Brady free agency and the hysteria that will come from the New England base in the media are factoring into the trade talk we are hearing about now more in earnest. I do not believe he has ever intended to resign in Boston, and now he is holding a gun to managements head. Multi year contracts have ruined baseball, and out priced the average fan. Beyond 4 years for a contract is bad business, but then no one in this forum cares about money, because it is not their money. The bottom line in all this in "free market" ******** is that it is no such thing, if I was one of these billionaire owners I would hire me a army of lawyers and go after MLB and their communist " payroll tax". I am just waiting to see which set of suckers are going to help their 'league' implode by going on strike...my bet...the NFL...Oh yeah trade Mookie and get what you can get, because the alternative is getting nothing but draft picks and repeating the cycle. No loyalty in the game anymore
  12. step back from the crack pipe
  13. You NEVER trade a good starting L.H. Pitcher with good stuff. ERod needs to just start trusting himself, and quit trying to be so fine with his pitches. One of the more forgettable trades in Sox History was one John Tudor. I see to much upside to give this guy away. Now the damn head case Price I am all for shipping him out with Betts, dude is cancer
  14. yeah o.k your honor, but I do so under objection and change " or less " to a lot less, professional sports are looking more and more like money laundering operations when the likes of Jackie Bradley can command 10 million per season to piss me off watching him attempt to hit
  15. I would consider Mike Scioscia from outside, or maybe Dewey? from those with Red Sox ties
  16. nothing, or none of the above
  17. just another overpaid celebrity on tell a vision. I can watch Betts where ever he gets overpaid, Boston, L.A. who knows maybe he has Death Valley in his future, cannot say I would watch him play there, but this is what happens when you allow the patients to run the asylum
  18. Sadly, it is times like this we remember the important things in life, tomorrow has never been guaranteed, and the planet would be a far better place if we all knew today was our last day on the Earth. Our family sends our deepest condolence to the Bryant and Altobelli families and others affected by this tragic accident. May the merciful Creator uphold you all in your grief, and assure you of their survival in the celestial event of Eternity....R.I.P. # 8 and # 14
  19. No baseball player is worth that money, the game passed the insanity threshold long ago, the nerds and their analytics have ruined the game.
  20. I agree with mvp, I believe the only reason the Red Sox got sucked into the wake of the Astro's mess, is because of Cora. Bet a dollar to a donut that nothing comes out of the report on the Boston Red Sox cheating in 2018.
  21. no s*** for Brains, I actually can see and think for myself, I do not have to be told what to think by the talking heads on tell a vision
  22. no such thing as a white supremacist except in twisted liberal minds, who do not know up from down
