  1. Not saying the Tigers are bad, but Cordero. with his stats, might be batting 5th for them.
  2. JD's going to be expensive for some team next season.
  3. Don't under estimate Richards. He's got good stuff.
  4. Koji probably closed a game faster than any closer in history.
  5. Porcello was probably a better hitter than either one.
  6. Good point. Maybe they mentally prepare for only delivering 5 good innings.
  7. Pretty much league-wide. I believe coddling is the main cause.
  8. Cabrera's next hit will tie Babe Ruth. Cordero's next hit will tie Ruth Buzzy.
  9. Actually in Perez's defense. Marwin trying to cover the whole right side of the infield didn't help.
  10. It appears that asking any starter now of days to go 6 is asking for trouble.
  11. Who's gonna get a base hit frst? Cabrera or Cordero? In fact, Cordero's .155 BA surprised me; I didn't realize it was that high.
  12. I blame the 9 game winning streak for being misled.
  13. I get a kick out of how the self-righteous Yankem fans are booing the hell out of the Astros. They must have forgotten that their clean-cut Yankems abused steroids more than any other team during that period in baseball.
  14. I thought 'whining' was something like blaming the ump or blaming the weather or whatever; I don't think whining is pointing out weaknesses on the team one roots for.
  15. I believe Richards has a better shot of having a very good year than Pivetta, but being a SOX fan, I hope they both have very good seasons.
  16. I love the SOX. so I'm definitely hoping everything you've just posted becomes a reality. GO SOX!
  17. Except the SOX have played less than 20% of the schedule and the BRUINS have clinched a PO spot. I'm not saying the BRUINS are gonna win the Cup; I'm just saying they have the best chance of a championship compared to the SOX and Celtics.
  18. Forgot one. The BRUINS aren't the only team in Boston that have a chance of undocking the ducks.
  19. Yup, you're right. Detroit isn't terrible. Pivetta is better than a #5. Dalbec is a threat against RH pitching. The BP gives us all confidence except a couple of guys. How could I be so wrong?
  20. Pivetta proved that at best he is a number 5 starter and a BP killer. He appears to have 2 pitches, neither of which he can control in the strike zone. The BP is rapidly achieving, with the exception of a couple guys, OINK OINK status. Reporting on this game late because I watched the BRUINS earlier. Btw, the BRUINS are the only team in Boston that has any chance of getting the duck boats out of dock. Almost forgot, the Tigers are a terrible team. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
  21. When Devers returns and Marwin can play 1st base, there's no sane reason to see Dalbec starting with RH pitching. He's overmatched and that's being kind.
