  1. Fun fact: Another post war fact. In the 4 WS the Sox were in prior to 2004 they had a record of 12-16. All 4 losses went 7 games. In the 4 WS wins from 2004 to the present the SOX have a record of 16-3.
  2. Fun fact: The 1950 Red Sox scored 1,027 runs in 154 games. They finished 4 games behind the Yankems. That's the most runs put up by a team in post war MLB . The 1931 Yankems scored 1,067 runs.
  3. Toronto struggling after being in WS the previous season. Can you imagine any team that struggled after being in the WS the previous season?
  4. Can you imagine what the Sox record would be w/o Contreras and Grey?
  5. The trouble the Sox have at being sellers is no matter if they lose, they're still in the PO race in this weak AL.
  6. Between Early and Suarez, the BP will be pronounced dead by the AS break.
  7. Early has had nothing this entire game. Unfortunately, the Triple A manager didn't notice. Fortunately, the FO hasn't extended his contract yet.
  8. The large difference is mainly because of the Sox excellent outfield.
  9. Early 's ERA coming into this game was 3.30. However, his FIP was 4.75.
  10. Well, that wonderful play allows Contreras to hit another solo HR.
  11. There's so much shite on network TV one could fertilize every farm in America.
  12. When I think of Scottish sports, which isn't often, I think of log tossing.
