Another 20 game winner was Derek Lowe in 2002, when he was 21-8. After he was acquired by the Dodgers following the 2004 season, he had a 54-48 record with a very respectable 3.60 ERA during his 4 seasons in LA. Lowe was also excellent for the Sox during the 2004 WS, after a not so great 2004 regular season. All in all, Lowe was a very good pitcher.

Sonny has probably at least 9 starts remaining this regular season, so 20 wins is doable.
