    Skubal has some good numbers. He averages about 6 innings per start; has 79 K's in 74 innings and his WHIP is 1.08. Fortunately, Wacha is no slouch either.

    I've mentioned this before because I really believe the Dodgers might be very interested in getting Kike back.

    Maybe I'm dead set on trading Kike for stingy reasons like wanting to see Duran play more for the SOX. Ya gotta admit he's an exciting player who looks like he belongs.

    I think that you would agree the SOX could use at least one more good reliever. Bloom can either trade an established player like Kike or he can trade away some good prospects. You have to give up something to get something.

    SOX defense has been damn impressive so far this season. That's an important part of the game that adds to the win column.

    The benefit of trading Kike is the SOX could get a decent reliever for him. The SOX won't get anything for Arroyo.

    The other option is to keep Kike and platoon him with Duran in CF and have Reffy platoon with JBJ in RF. Then Bloom could either trade or DFA Arroyo.

    Plus the fact the SOX also have Reffy, who, if Cora so chooses, could platoon with Duran at lead-off. Kike is definitely tradable.

    Duran's speed would make even not perfect bunts base hits. JBJ isn't in the same speed class as Duran. Speaking of Duran, if he continues to shine, Bloom would have a nice trading chip with Kike.

    Great catchers right now in MLB are as rare as unicorns.

    To take more advantage of his great speed Duran has to lay down more bunts. Especially against LH's. Bunting is definitely a teachable part of the game. Too bad Remy is no longer with us; he was an excellent bunter and would have been a good teacher for Duran.

    Two excellent defensive plays that inning. Story is the 2nd coming of Pedey at 2nd base.

    When you compare his RBI to his BA, that makes total sense. When you compare JD's and Bogey's RBI to their BA's, it makes no sense.

    When the SOX play Cleveland, it will be to their advantage to get some production from their 3 and 4 hitters.
