  1. That was only an out because of the wind. HR under normal conditions, if there ever are normal conditions in the Windy City.
  2. Kike Devers JD Bogey Dugo Story Cordero VAZ JBJ
  3. Fun fact: This surprised me. Judge started his ML career in 2016. Devers in 2017. Devers is 4.5 years younger than Judge. Anyway, Judge turned 30 in April, and the Yankems' Kay and O'Neill are almost certain Judge will get 10yrs/300+ million from the Yankems.
  4. Anyone here hear a beeping sound? That's the Yankems backing up.
  5. Tim Anderson gets last laugh against the Yankems and their shitey fans. Josh Donaldson, just the latest A-hole signed by the Yankems.
  6. Devers' offense has never been in question. And now that his defense has vastly improved he has become a pretty much complete ballplayer. IMHO, he's not gonna give the SOX a 'hometown discount', that very rarely occurs, if ever. I'm guessing that if the SOX want to keep Raffy, it'll have to be no less than 10 years at between 300 and 330 milllion. Of course, what Devers does this year and next may influence the amount of the contract, but I seriously doubt, injuries aside, that he won't continue to improve. Also, there is no doubt in my mind that Devers is the best under 26 year old everyday player in MLB. He's 2 years, 3 months younger than Ohtani.
  7. Finally, Franchy's game-winning GS today guaranteed him a spot on the Official SOX highlights video for the 2022 season.
  8. Yup, not only did Franchy win the game, he also added to the SOX runs per game average.
  9. Franchy only hit one HR last season, but it was the longest on the ballclub.
  10. Franchy hit the ball on the nose 3 times today, but the 3rd one was the charm.
  11. Franchy definitely deserved that.
  12. What a f'd up inning.
  13. Thank goodness VAZ didn't try for 3rd.
  14. With all the yapping OB and Youk do, it would be nice to know why Strahm isn't participating today, instead of me having to guess.
  15. Must be Strahm is unavailable because of injury/sickness or F'ing Cora is resting him for the PO's.
  16. Please expedite the delivery of Casas to the SOX.
  17. Tough luck for Franchy today.
  18. When a manager doesn't use his best reliever(Strahm) to close, it's on the manager.
  19. Cora should have listened to me.
  20. When you're hot, you're hot. Is Strahm going to close? He'd be my pick.
  21. If I'm not mistaken, there was a SOX season where Boggs never made an infield fair ball pop-up out.
  22. I'd define that as a damn fine bounce back performance.
  23. Whose idea was it to make it 90 feet between bases? It's so perfect. Damn you, Doubleday.
