  1. Btw, the KC starter is very good. He may have something to do with the SOX offensive impotency.
  2. Well, I just hope the SOX FO doesn't agree that Criswell pitched well tonight. If they do, they'll just make him the middle of the rotation guy the SOX are missing.
  3. Criswell is asking himself "what do I have to do to get taken out?"
  4. Maybe Masa should have stayed at DH tonight. O'Neill is a strike out machine.
  5. KC's a team with good starting pitching, an above average offense, and a good defense (they have 24 fewer errors than the SOX). My question is why are they only 8 games above .500? Must be their BP, maybe?
  6. He may Cris well, but he doesn't pitch well.
  7. A good starter coming from the SOX farm is more rare than finding a pearl in an oyster. Really pathetic.
  8. SOX should beat? KC's record is pretty close to the SOX.
  9. It could have been a lot worse.
  10. The Braves got Cy Young and we got sigh.
  11. The Sale trade is looking better and better for Atlanta, but, OTOH, where would the SOX be w/o Grissom?
  12. Dewey got screwdy.
  13. Mr Anderson preserves the shutout.
  14. The A's have hit 111 HR's to the SOX 109.
  15. Masa is definitely the best contact hitter on this team and it's starting to pay off.
  16. Only the A's as a team have K'd more than the SOX.
  17. The A's have a winning % of .372. So winning 2 of 3 is not disappointing.
  18. An excellent CF'r and a very good SS. That's usually two different players.
  19. Mass Attack! He's been a pretty good DH of late.
  20. What do you think? 385 HR's, 2,446 hits, .840 OPS, .370 OBP, .470 slugging, 483 doubles, and .272 BA. Are these HOF numbers?
  21. Very good job tonight by Houck.
  22. The 'red seat' is 502 ft from HP. In 2021 at Fenway Miguel Sano hit a ball in the same area 495 feet. At the time he stated that he thought his HR was farther than the 'red seat.' Btw, the seat was painted red in 1986.
  23. Willy Mo Pena hit a HR at Fenway that was smashed so hard it hit a bench in the monster seats and bounced back on the field near the SS.
  24. It appears Abreu's got his groove back.
