  1. Wrong. Human umps will still call balls and strikes. Robo umps will only be used for challenges. I was referring to when MLB goes completely Robo Ump. Don't think that the Umpires' Union won't raise a fuss. Probably threatening going on strike.
  2. Yup. He's already got the high 90's heater. Once he develops his other weapons he could definitely be a force. Both he and Early have excellent potential. It doesn't hurt to have Crochet and Bailey working with them.
  3. If Houston doesn't make the PO's, maybe they will offer Breggy a 5 year deal.
  4. IMHO, the Sox have the best starter and the best closer in MLB. If only Brez had done his job.
  5. Besides winning the CY Young I expect Crochet will be in the top 5 in the MVP voting.
  6. Crochet has saved the overworked BP many times this season. One of the defining jobs of being an ACE.
  7. He hasn't been good in a while. Personally, I believe he's tired, either mentally or physically or a little of both. Hopefully, tomorrow he can prove me wrong.
  8. A rare thing happened in MLB this season. No team will win 100 games. The Brewers a couple of weeks ago looked like a lock getting 100 or more wins. Adding insult to injury, the Brewers are the only MLB team with a chance of finishing with a .600+ winning %.
  9. I believe the Sox have as good a chance of winning the AL PO's as any other team. There's no great team in the AL this season.
  10. As much as I like Anthony even if he does come back in the middle of the PO's, how effective is he going to be? I think we should accept the fact that these current 13 offensive players will be the ones in the entire PO's.
  11. Teams can come out of a bad slump at anytime. I'm sure Cora and the Sox realize that.
