  1. I believe WAKE had more movement on his knuckler than Wright.
  2. You make a good point. However, I think it's too early to say the SOX chances aren't that good. A lot can happen between now and October. Sometimes it's just a matter of a team getting hot at the right time and going into the playoffs with momentum. Also, injuries are always a factor for playoff bound teams, and no one can predict those.
  3. No doubt about that. Good pitching will usually beat good hitting. Any pitching will beat the bottom of the SOX line-up.
  4. Pablo and Hanley; the 'coal dust' twins.
  5. Seriously, the Cuban guy(I forgot his name) can he be any worse than Swihart or anyone else in the bottom of this batting order?
  6. Yes he is, but so many are. Paul O'neill and Ken Simpleton on YES make me run to the mute button.
  7. You might describe it as Dolly Parton like.
  8. The bad news is the SOX lost. The good news is it didn't take 3+hours to do it.
  9. Last chance to place your Betts.
  10. Who will be the SOX hero tonight?
  11. He'll do his normal Workman like job.
  12. Kudos to Nunez. At least he got a hit.
  13. At least Cora used a pinch hitter. Wonder if he'll use another in the 9th.
  14. Well, at least Pepe is out of there.
  15. The SOX pathetic performance on offense has overshadowed the great performance by Wright tonight.
  16. Maybe X-man can do it again for the 3rd straight game. If not, the SOX are in big trouble.
  17. I mentioned that last night. All bad hitters should, at least, know how to bunt.
  18. No, but I have counted the number of hits for the SOX. It's 1 and that was a while ago.
  19. It's like before he even gets to the plate the count is 0-2.
  20. It's obvious Holt couldn't have done better tonight than Nunez or Swihart.
  21. One would think that Pedey would harp at Bogey not to slide into 1st.
  22. Ty couldn't play today with these new Nancy rules.
  23. No player liked to slide more than Ty Cobb and he never slid into 1st base. It's also a good way to injure a hand. Right, Pedey?
  24. Sliding into 1st is a reflection of a lack of base running intelligence.
  25. Pepe LeBlanc making the SOX stink like skunks tonight.
