    He's ouuuuuuuuuut!
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Hey, booth, please don't praise him into failure.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm not a fan of the bunt, but under certain situations it's a good option.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I hope the SOX don't see this guy when they go to Philly.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The bunt was the only right call.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Holt your horses. Wait, Holt is a horse.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It is true that Lester was the last good pitcher to come thru the SOX organization. That's remarkable.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
That SALE has a 2.03 ERA in the AL is truly awesome.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I will concede that Lester did have to pitch in the AL for much of his career and Nola does pitch in the weaker NL. When Lester moved to the NL, his pitching stats were much improved.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Lester was a long time ago and he was never as good as Nola.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, this kid isn't blessed with the best defense behind him. Thank goodness for that.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Man, after all these years, one would think the SOX could develop at least one starter with this kid's talent.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I think his stuff is very overwhelming.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
JD can't resist those low outside pitches. But when the pitcher doesn't get it low or outside enough, JD makes them pay. Nola just has outstanding control.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Except for Sale, I haven't been impressed by a pitcher this year as much as this Nola guy. He's only 25 and came up thru their system.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
A pitching duel. A rare thing in baseball now of days.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, Sandy has been an iron man behind the plate. He'll probably be catching tomorrow with POM pitching..
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I think it was a straight steal. I doubt Cora calls hit and run with Sandy at the plate.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    s***!!
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Nola's thinking I wish I had JBJ in CF.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Nunez hit that hard. Too hard for Herrara to catch it.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Very nice play by Nunez.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Nola's OBA is .202. That's scary.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Sadly, the SOX will be facing a pretty good pitcher tomorrow, also.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Nunez is much better defensively at 3rd.
