I watched the Astros get 2 runs in the 8th to beat the Giants 2-1 earlier. When they get healthy with that pitching staff. Not something to look forward to.

After that 4 game series, I don't mind the day off. Unfortunately, as expected, the lowly White Sox are losing to the F'ing Yankems. -

Springer just went on the 10 DL today(thumb injury).

Based on your scenario, Houston would end up playing 52 games(including Boston) against playoff teams. The SOX would have played @27. If the Yankems make the playoffs(which is probably more realistic) then Houston would have played 40 games against playoff teams and Boston would have played the same number.
