  1. Seems like Eovaldi's having trouble communicating with the Butler.
  2. Holt hasn't had a hit in 5 minutes.
  3. I hope this isn't gonna be Porcello, the sequel.
  4. DP's are great when it happens to the bad guys.
  5. Yup, Werth seems to have forgotten that the players still have to hit, catch, run and throw. Pretty much the same things they had to do after Doubleday invented the game.
  6. One last thing about the unassuming Mr Mueller. In his 1st year with the SOX he won the 2003 AL batting title with an average of .326. And he did it hitting in the bottom of the line-up (usually 8th) for most of the season. That was some line-up.
  7. Thanks, Harmony. That's good stuff.
  8. I love that it was against Verlander.
  9. Bill was a damned good hitter. In 2004 he did two unforgettable feats. In the July game against the Yankems when Varitek and A-rod had the fight, it was Mueller who won the game with a 2 run homer. In the 4th game of the playoffs against the Yankems, Mueller drove in the tying run in the 9th against Rivera. Btw, many feel that win in July against the Yankems turned the season around for the SOX. One could say that w/o Mueller in 2004, the SOX don't win their 1st WS in 86 years.
  10. John Valentin in 1996. A very good 3rd baseman for the SOX.
  11. Talk about rare, Dewey. Do you remember when the great Bill Mueller hit two grand slams in one game from opposite sides of the plate? Only player ever to do it. Btw, I also discovered that Mueller had a career batting average against the great Rivera of .455. Mr. Mueller should never be forgotten by SOX fans.
  12. Brock Holt hit for the cycle in 2015.
  13. I'd give Betts the slight nod over JD right now because of all the other tools Betts brings to the game. Trout shouldn't even be in the conversation at this point. I still believe that JD is the best hitter in MLB.
  14. You don't often see a closer with a 6.21 ERA. Maybe the Jays would be interested in POM.
  15. Damn, it wasn't a grand salami. Betts is the Bestt.
  16. Almost forgot. No sweat, the SOX will pull this one out.
  17. By losing 34 games so far, the SOX have already proven they can't win them all. By winning 35 games so far, the O's have already proven they can't lose them all.
  18. Love to see Mookie hit for cycle. Hopefully, it's a grand slam. Not asking for much.
  19. It's remarkable that when the SOX take 2 out of 3, their winning percentage will drop.
  20. At the worst, the SOX will take the series from a bad team while the Yankems swept an abysmal team.
  21. Kinsler will be back soon, HOPEFULLY.
  22. Warning track power. A true oxymoron.
  23. And they're into ours.
  24. The SOX have a great team and the players like him. No, I'm not talking about Tito.
