    I would. Porcello has to pitch tomorrow. Price did well in relief last year. However, if he falls on his face in relief, maybe, due to shame, he'll exercise his opt out clause and the SOX can be rid of him. I highly doubt he'll opt out of his contract no matter what. For most of these guys it's all about the money. They have no shame. But they do have beards.

    Head scratcher. Of the 4 remaining teams in the PO's the team that had the most regular season wins has arguably the weakest starting pitching and the weakest BP. Is it really just smoke and mirrors?

    The odds of the Yankems winning this ALDS would be the same odds as seeing a POTUS mounting the steps of Air Force 1 with a sheet of toilet paper stuck to his shoe. Things like that just don't happen in the great ol' USA.

    I just read in this morning's paper that only 6 balls have landed where Judge hit his HR last night in the history of Fenway Park. The last player to hit one there was Jim Rice in 1975.

    The good news is that the SOX could easily be down 2-0. I posted a month ago that I wouldn't be surprised if the SOX made it to the WS and I wouldn't be surprised if they exited in the 1st round. This is a team that feasted on the dregs of the AL better than any team in the league. Unfortunately those dregs aren't in the PO's.
