    The truth of the matter is the 3 major problems facing the SOX at this point are not having Kimbrel closing and the offensive decline of Beni and Betts.

    I agree with your post 100%. If Cora doesn't want JBJ in the line-up, it would make more sense to put Pearce in LF. Beni in CF. That way JD remains as the DH. Nunez replacing anybody makes no sense.

    Houston doesn't even have a hockey team, so there's that. When it comes to team sports, the SOX are my 1st love and the BRUINS are a close 2nd, so I'm not complaining..

    Imho, Cora is over-managing when he keeps moving players around in the line-up.

    Put JD back to DHing. Put JBJ back in CF. And leave it that way. Nunez batting for JBJ is not an improvement and it just weakens the defense.

    Cora will continue wheeling Brasier in there until Brasier proves him right.

    With less than 90 pitches thrown there was no reason not to let POR start the 8th. He pitched a quality game.

    The only plus when Leon is catching is that the SOX have someone who can hit on the bench.
