  1. At least Devers gets angry when he makes an out, unlike some of these other SOX players.
  2. Having your head stuck up your ass must be hurting you.
  3. DEVERS DEliVERS is another mantra I can flush down the toilet.
  4. You do realize that this is a SOX board that holds the Yankems and their fans in complete contempt. In the words of SLASHER, f*** the Yankems and their fans. Is that sensitive enough for you?
  5. And we care about this, why?
  6. You're fortunate that condescension isn't a deadly disease.
  7. From the Penthouse to the Outhouse: The Story of the 2019 Red Sox. Out in paperback soon. Actually, this is just a republication of the book written in 2014.
  8. It'll be very difficult to kill our BP now.
  9. Better check EE's parrot for injuries.
  10. It's Gorkys. He's what's left of the farm.
  11. Will list starters later.
  12. Many of them will be moving also.
  13. You'll be missed, Vegasbob. Have a great fall and winter and hopefully I'll see your posts next spring.
  14. I will give Sly Stallone this. When Sly wrote the screenplay for Rocky, he shopped it around to the major studios and was offered big bucks for it. Sly turned the money down because he wasn't going to sell the script unless he got to play Rocky. Finally, United Artists agreed to Sly's demands and the rest is history. I give Stallone credit for sticking to his guns and not giving in for the money. I just wish he had only done two Rocky movies. The 1st two, of course.
  15. Baseball is just part of the entertainment industry. Look how much actors are paid to be in movies? And most of the movies aren't even good. As long as people pay to escape the crap of real life, I guess there really isn't a problem for the mediocrity in many cases of the entertainment involved. Speaking of mediocrity, I see the Sly Stallone is doing another sequel to First Blood. He will have a double in the film for any activity involving walking.
  16. True hate in baseball was back when most of the players were on one year contracts. Back when fans could relate to a ball player's salary. Back when a fan would say "wow, he makes $30,000.00 to play a game I'd play for less than that." Also, back when a player felt an allegiance to the team he was on. Oh, Curt Flood. You ruined it for the true fans.
  17. Nah. They're all multi-millionaires. I bet JBJ even asks Mookie where's the best place to invest my money?
  18. Brighter bulbs? What are we? Gas lanterns? Don't answer; it's rhetorical.
  19. I'm too old to start a new hobby. Oh wait, hockey season starts next month, so my new hobby will be rooting for the Bruins. GO BRUINS!
  20. A week ago I posted the SOX would pass the Rays. I now admit the error of that statement and my only excuse is that I was drinking PBR at the time I posted that.
  21. Forever, or until you have to buy new stamps. Whatever comes first.
  22. The SOX definitely didn't cheat this year; however, the fans may feel they got cheated.
  23. When a team mails games in, does that require more than one stamp?
